Man this just gets sadder, and sadder. According to Us Weekly, the family of Corey Haim is asking for help from his fans in order to pay for his funeral. The late actor, who died aged only 38-years-old on Wednesday March 10, 2010, will be buried in his native home of Toronto, Canada, next week. On his official website, CoreyHaim.us, a statement from the family has been posted in which they seek further donations towards the The Corey Haim Memorial Fund.

The site then includes instructions on how to send money through PayPal at CoreyHaim.us/Memorial or through the mail, care of his mother, Judy Haim:

I just hope, for the sake of his family, that this is an officially registered charity that is soliciting donations to a so-named fund. And that this doesn’t further follow the story of Brittany Murphy with the fund being found as non-official.
