The new Ciara video for Work came out today and premiered on UK TV; a channel called 4 Music.
Given that my heavy reliance on the internet has robbed me of both my sense of urgency and my common sense, I actually missed this, when it came on air. But I did stumble on it in all it’s trannified glory online. It’s almost as if some overly made up drag queen put it somewhere they knew I’d find it.
The video is one hot mess. It means well and I will try to be fair and say that I can see where they were going with this.
On the first watch, it kind of looks like she took the Alien Princess Shut up and Drive music video concept and half the costumes and dumped them in the desert. She then bootlegged some of her own dance moves from the Get Up video. She topped it off with Beyonda aka Sucha Farce’s weave and reject stage costumes.
On the positive side, Sea-Error can work a tuck game and boost other people’s video treatments like no one else on this earth. Man that tuck is tight. You can’t even see the bulge or nuffink.
I watched and after working out whether I liked the song or not (not), whether I liked the video or not (not) and whether I cared it featured Miss E So Addictive (um, nah), my only other thought was that DListed’s nono hole was going to explode with ass puddin’ after watching this. Dudes. Drowning in your own pudding is no fun (trust me, I nearly died after one of my Senor Bale posts).
guess she has to pay for that last bit of surgery somehow, right? lol
She seems to have quite a way to go in her gender reassignment. Oooooh.
