Christina Aguilera has been spilling her glittery guts, about how she fulfilled the dreams of her inner drag queen. Aguilera says that Cher warmed to her so much during the filming of their movie, Burlesque, that she counted on the veteran singer as a mentor (she’s telling at least a half-truth, Cher and she could be seen holding hands at the Golden Globes). If she drinks all of the unicorn glitter potions I gave her, then in her wildest dreams she may grow up to be Cher.
In an interview in this week’s OK! Magazine, Christina Aguilera revealed she has felt completely at ease with Cher while she filmed her big-screen debut, Burlesque. Christina says the pair got along very well on set.
She said: “She’s [Cher has] embraced me with open arms, it’s meant the world. She’s been very much a mentor to me, but we get together and it’s like we’re old girlfriends, we’ll talk and talk. I really adore her.” [OK!]

I take it you’re a Cher fan. I like them both. But Xtina is no Cher. Cher’s not much of singer. Christina is a hell of singer. What Xtina lacks that Cher has in abundance is star power.
That and about 15 imperial gallons of silicone.
Yeah, I like Cher. You’re right, Christina can sing her little behind off – but Cher’s longevity does say something.
