Chris Brown Plea Deal Means No Jail Time

Chris Brown has been given a plea deal in his case – which means that for the crimes with which he has been charged, he will face no jail time.

The singer, whose career seems to be back on track already like his sh*t don’t stink, will spend 180 days doing community labor and he get five years probation for felony assault (a crime for which he pled guilty).

Alien Princess was photographed all purdy like in the courtroom, after some overlong nonsense about whether or not cams should be allowed in at all. Clearly no one told them that when a bish gets her hair did, not having the moment captured on film is one mother of a crime in itself. The cockatoo do was tamed by lion tamers or sommat. Cos from the images I’ve seen of her in court (Just Jared have a great selection) each hair stayed down the whole time. Kind of like little hair elves were holding the fort and yelling “Get yo’ ass down!” every time one of them got outta line and tried to draw attention to itself.

TMZ claim that Brown will be doing some hard labour, but unless that labour includes tossing someone’ salad, it ain’t hard enough time for punching yo’ bish in the face.

Video from inside the courtroom can be found on the same site.

He’ll spend 180 days doing community labor (8 hours a day — 1440 hours total) — which is, in effect, hard labor. He’ll do his service in Virginia which is where Brown lives. A Virginia law enforcement officer told us Brown will be picking up trash, pulling weeds and washing fire trucks. He gets 5 years probation for felony assault — he pled guilty. He’ll get supervised probation. He’ll have to come back to court every three months.

He must enroll in a domestic violence counseling program. This is interesting… the judge said if Brown and Rihanna are at the same public events, the 50-yard stay away turns into 10 yards. The stay away order lasts 5 years. (via TMZ)

Bullsh*t celebrity justice at its finest ladies and gentlement. A-thank-yow.

  1. Rain says:

I heard the most ridiculous rationale for such a light sentence from Jeffrey Toobin (CNN).

He claims that California’s economic melt-down wouldn’t allow for a jail sentence anyway because the state just can’t afford it.

Hmmm…isn’t Brown a millionaire several times over? How about stripping him of a sizable hunk of cash?

    1. …that’s just shorthand for woman beating is okay, so long as both people are black. Sigh. They don’t give a crap about over-crowded jails (as if woman beating is not a real crime deserving of any punishment).
