So, in addition to being, like, wow, totally inarticulate in his interview for CNN, to the point where he had to go back and explain the whole damn thing and all the misunderstandings it created, Chris Brown is also, like, totally clueless. Wow.
The now 20-year-old singer has spoken out, to say that a woman he claims to have supported in the past, Oprah, has turned her back on him. He feels she showed a lack of support for him by filming a TV special that offered support to sufferers of domestic violence.
Brown says that the support he showed, when he went and performed at her school in Africa, was a service to her. So, doing a show that supported Rihanna was a slap in the face. Yes, you read that right. Brown had the pair of giant, hairy, mother-effing balls on him to speak about Rihanna, AGAIN and this time use a phrase straight from his Scum-Eating Woman Beaters: 101 Useful Phrases, Handbook.
- Chris Brown said of the lack of support: “I commend Oprah on being like, ‘This is a problem,’ but it was a slap in my face. I did a lot of stuff for her, like going to Africa and performing for her school. She could have been more helpful, like, ‘Okay, I’m going to help both of these people out.’”
- Oprah Winfrey’s rep responded with: “Oprah is very appreciative that Chris Brown performed at her school but she takes domestic abuse very seriously. She hopes he gets the counseling he needs.”
Can someone take some of this fool’s money, that he still has left after court fines, and buy him a clue? He needs help, in order to be sure this does not happen again in future relationships.
Taking aim at one of the most powerful media-moguls in the world is not a clever idea. Here’s a clue for free, Brown. Please go and do the light sentence you got handed in lieu of jail time and stop putting yourself out in the media. With every word you utter, you only make it harder for yourself.
