Fight For This Love, the solo single from X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole, has become the fastest-selling single of the year in the UK chart.
Cole is taking a bit of a break from being the most dimple-y member of Girls Aloud, to embark on a solo career. The songstress appeared on last week’s episode of the X-Factor. She wore saucy trousers that showed a lot of leg, and an odd dominatrix/ soldier ensemble. Thanks to all the flashed flesh, and the stylish video to go along with it, the tune has rocketed to the top of the British singles chart, with over 290,000 sales. The song has become the fastest-selling single of the year, in the UK.
Dimple stans are all kinds of excitable about the song, and its part-mimed performance. I’d say it’s a bit hit and miss, personally. But I suppose if someone goes to that much trouble, to show that much leg, it’d be rude not to buy their single. That’s the only reason I supported the career of pant-less Lady GaGa. She never wore pants. Not often, anyway. That means she must have really, really wanted to make it. Same applies here.
