Chaz Bono, who before his sex change operation was known by Chastity Bono, spoke to Entertainment Tonight about embracing manhood.
Chaz Bono, who was born the daughter of Cher and the late Sonny Bono, says he’s excited about the belated transition into the male gender. He has spoken to ET on the subject, in a two-part interview that will air Thursday and Friday.
This past March he underwent gender swap procedures and began a permanent intake of male hormones. Despite his openness on how he is finding life as a man, shaving for the first time, and celebrating his first birthday as a man, he declined the offer to indulge people’s curiosities about what may be going on below his waist. Best left alone, as that’s the kind of sharing I could do without. Good for him though, he sounds as though the transition is working for him.
