Channing Tatum used to be a male stripper, who went by the name of Chan Crawford. He was only 18 at the time, so guessing it was not supposed to be a lubed up version of Chace Crawford or sommat. Tatum’s past was not unknown to many of his fans. However, the photos of him exotic dancing and stripping down to his smalls on stage have only just been revealed.
Us magazine’s August 17, 2009 issue have the pictures of Tatum, as Chan Crawford, at Male Encounter. Guess everyone has to start somewhere and Tatum started in his underpants, dancing on a stage as part of a male revue very similar to Chippindales. When the G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra actor turned 18 he took a job with Male Encounter for $50 a day plus tips. Working a pole pays (me) more, guess beggers can’t be choosers.

Update: As well as being a being a stripper by the name of Chan Crawford, PITNB states that Channing used to model for high end fashion photoshoots that required that he be nude or semi-nude… for artistic purposes.
