Brittany Murphy passed away of a heart attack. She was taken to hospital this morning, but pronounced dead on arrival. Celebrity friends and well-wishers on Twitter have been cracking the screens on their iPhones typing out speed messages of condolence. Man, this has been a terrible year for celebrities. So sad we could not end the year without losing yet another star before their time.
As an update to the earlier post, it has been revealed that it was Murphy’s mother who found her. The actress was in the shower unconscious. According to TMZ, paramedics arrived after the 911 call was made at 8AM. They determined she was in full cardiac arrest and administered CPR, which they continued as they took her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Several miles later, Murphy was still unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at hospital, 10:04AM. The LA County Coroner will pick up her body and investigate cause of death.
Murphy’s rep confirms, giving thanks for the “love and support”. Adding, “in this time of sadness” the family asks the public to “respect their privacy”.

OK, Perez went a little bit overboard.
He needs to back off and concentrate on the fact that one very lovely young lady passed away and leave the gossip mongering for another day.
There will be time for that AFTER the holidays I’m sure.
Perez had much, much more vulgar messages, which he now seems to have deleted. I wrote in one of the more tame ones. This news hit and within minutes her Wiki was edited, and every celeb friend she had was tweeting about it!
