Following all of the controversy on Sunday, after Kanye West interruped and ruined a moment onstage for Taylor Swift as she accepted an award, celebrities have taken to their assorted Twitter accounts and blogs to react.
The celebrity Twitter reactions to the Kanye West VMA outburst are brutal and frankly I agree with most of them. Kelly Clarkson took to her official blog and reeled off a very long entry where she called West an a-hole. The celebrities who reacted on Twitter were slightly less brutal about what they thought of West’s actions, but they were still critical of his horrid storming of the stage and humiliating of a 19-year-old girl.
Swift’s own reaction after the incident was to leave the stage and cry. Later, after she had composed herself, she was given a second chance at making her acceptance speech by none other than Beyonce.
Taylor said after the show, “I was standing on stage and I was really excited because I’d just won the award and then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn’t excited anymore after that. “I don’t want to start anything. I had a great day. I’ve been sent so many text messages and everyone’s been really nice. I’ve had a really, really fun night.”

Thanks for the comment Blake – I saw the Today Show video too and I agree. The host was so scared she was going to swear it was a hoot. She and 50 Cent have a good point that he would not have picked on someone his own size. I would love to have seen him do that to someone like Pink who is rowdy enough not to have let it go!
