Kelly Clarkson Fought Already Gone Release

Kelly Clarkson Already Gone official music video has been released.

Kelly Clarkson has been bellyaching to the media about how she is not to blame for the backing track to her new single Already Gone (above), being the same as the one to Halo by Beyonce (below).

Clarkson tried to stop the single’s release after learning about the issue but she failed. Rather than doing as most artists would and let it slide under the radar of the media the singer chose to publicly throw the song’s producer under the bus. Ryan Tedder, the producer who also happens to be the front-man for band OneRepublic, allegedly gave the same beat to Beyonce without letting anyone know.

“No one’s gonna be sittin’ at home, thinking ‘Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyoncé and Kelly the same track to write to.’  No, they’re just gonna be saying I ripped someone off…I fought and fought”.

“In the end, they’re releasing it without my consent.  It sucks, but it’s one of those things I have no control over. I already made my album. At this point, the record company can do whatever they want with it. It’s kind of a sh- – -y situation, but . . . you know, you learn.” (via Showbiz Spy)

You can check out the songs for yourself and see what the fuss is about.

Created with the same backing track is Halo by Beyonce.

Britney Spears Kill the Lights Animated Video

Britney Spears Kill the Lights new animated music video.

Britney Spears has just released the animated cartoon video to Kill the Lights.

The video premiered to cries of laziness and fans asking wtf was up with her not filming an actual video. The Kill the Lights video above is a promo taken directly from Britney’s official site. However, there is no confirmation as to whether this is supposed to be the song’s offical promo. Guess this is better than the last mess she released where horsey porn cunningly doubled as an advert for Candies clothing.

Update from BritneySpears.com: “Here is the video premiere for the winning submission from Britney’s Global Fan Fiction contest. Britneli, the grand-prize winner, chose ‘Kill the Lights’ and wrote a Britney-inspired story which has been transformed into this official digitally animated music video. Enjoy!”

For those who’ve gotten back the taste for it, Break the Ice is also below.

Carrie Prejean Prolly Isn’t Doing Drunk Karaoke

Carrie Prejeans, ‘sings with Bing’, at Del Mar Racetrack on opening day 2009.

Carrie Prejean remained “Biblically correct” while she took to the stage at Del Mar Race Track, in SoCal, for their traditional Sing With Bing opening ceremony.

Prejean, one can assume you were not actually drunk as you mounted the stage and proceeded to sway back and forth like an over-sauced auntie at a wedding. But it sure looks like you were having a gay ol’ time, as you butchered whatever song you were singing. (NB: I tried to listen, I really did, but I totally couldn’t tell from her “singing” and the backing music was too quite.)

Shanna Moakler Angry @ Katie Holmes SYTYCD

Katie Holmes appearence on So You Think you can Dance on Thursday.

Shanna Moakler says that she is insulted that robot Katie took to the stage on So You Think You can Dance, to perform a Judy Garland tribute, Thursday night.

The former beauty queen is in a perpetual state of apoplexy over one thing or another, let’s not pretend that that isn’t the case. Today, she is mad that a robot took to the stage and didn’t do the actual robot, but another questionable dance rendition. This inflamed Moakler’s already inflated sense of self and so, of course, we all have to hear about it.

“I am f***ing INSULTED, Katie Holmes how dare you!,” Shanna Moakler wrote on Twitter. “I didn’t just grow up on musicals, I lived and breathed them, Oklahoma, Easter Parade, Family Band, don’t touch my legends! You’re not worthy.” (via AndPop)

The more observant readers will have noticed that I didn’t cover Holmes on SYTYCD, nor did I cover the horrid reviews of her “singing” or “dancing”. Holmes was on the show to support charity and despite my ramblings, charity is something I am immensely passionate about. Not even I’m that much of a c*nt. Sheesh.

Inspector Gadget: Book of Shadows Trailer

Inspector Gadget: Book of Shadows trailer.

The silly (presumably pretend) trailer for the feature film adaptation of 90s cartoon Inspector Gadget, Inspector Gadget: Book of Shadows can be seen above. This is so crazy. My CoCo Puff-filled childhood kind of feels like it’s being raped whenever something from it is remade/ sh*tted on, by unoriginal Hollywood. Like, whenever there is talk of any show that was featured largely in my pre-pubescent imaginings, that I watched every day before and after school and that me and my tiny buddies loved more than cheap candy. Pretty sure if someone told me they actually were going to remake the Care Bears, Thunder Cats or He Man and She-Ra, I may have a nervous breakdown on the spot and spend the rest of my life rocking back and forth in the foetal position, sucking my thumbs.

Check it out, and a snippet from one of the original cartoon is below.

Johnny Depp: Tim Burton’s Comic-Con Guest

Johnny Depp appearing onstage as Tim Burton’s Comic-Con guest.

It’ll come as no real surprise that Johnny Depp was Tim Burton’s guest on his panel at Comic-Con, yesterday. The video of Depp can be seen above. The pictures from the appearance, below.

According to reports, the actor walked in, caused heart failure/ spontaneous urination in the fan boys and girls, said FIVE words and left.

After screening a custom-made trailer for his Comic-Con fans, director Burton asked the crowd if they would like to meet the “imaginary friend” that follows him around. The crowd cheered and Depp, who plays the Mad Hatter, walked onstage in a button-up shirt and fitted black vest. He had long bangs sweeping the side of his face, and wore a thick leather bracelet.

After several moments of cheering, Depp whispered into the mic, “Hey. Happy to be here.” And then, poof, he was gone.

Moderator Patton Oswalt told the crowd that Depp could reappear later in the day, so “be nice to every guy you see dressed like Jack Sparrow.” Moderator Patton Oswalt told the crowd that Depp could reappear later in the day, so “be nice to every guy you see dressed like Jack Sparrow.” (Via E!
