Kate Gosselin appeared on Larry King Live for an interview August 25, 2009.

In the interview Kate spoke about her divorcing from Jon Gosselin, who has since reached the dizzying heights of selling lemonade in front of the paps and opining that a 9-5 would be much more settling. Other than the divorce, Kate spoke about the possibility of Jon leaving their show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. This is following on from the news that Jon’s own pilot plans are in the pooper, and his relationship with TLC is headed the same way after he breached some whimsical morality clause.

Like a lot of parents in this position (think the interviews Peter Andre did after he filed for divorce from Katie Price), Kate did a good job of staying somewhat neutral and not smack-talking about her sweaty, man-flop wearing, douche ex. Her kids may watch these interviews some day and she seems to get this. Now, if only someone could please explain this concept to Travis Barker when he calls Shanna Moakler, his babies mother, a piece of sh*t while on Twitter, that would be just grand.

Above is another fun video, thanks to the sweeties at RadioPlanet.TV. In this interview is actress/ singer/ undercover Scilon, Juliette Lewis. She was interviewed on Sirius’ radio show last week, to talk about her role in the upcoming Drew Barrymore film Whip It, her new rock album Terra Incognita, and how she’s still viewed as the consummate Hollywood villain since 1994’s Natural Born Killers.

Texting While Driving Video PSA Causes Stir

A new texting while driving video PSA has been released.

The graphic video created by the Gwent Police Department in Wales, serves as a warning to those on the road who endanger others by not paying attention to the road ahead. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the dangers of texting while driving and is being shown to soon-to-be traumatised UK high school students.

A recent study revealed texting and driving is actually more dangerous than drinking and driving since the reaction time for a texter was longer than for someone legally drunk at 0.08. The Texting PSA shows the crash and the horrible consequences of an accident caused by a teen texter. A study also shows texting and driving is more common between the ages of 17 and 24. Oddly, the graphic nature of the PSA is causing it to be something of an Internet hit. It shows a total of four people being killed; two of the teen driver’s friends, and the parents of two children in an oncoming car. Jasmine Fiore’s Mother Today Show Interview

The mother of the late Jasmine Fiore, named Lisa Lepore, appeared on The Today Show, to speak about her daughter’s passing and the suicide of Ryan Alexander Jenkins.

The appearance from earlier in the day (August 24, 2009) shows Lepore and also Fiore’s former boyfriend Robert Hasman. The pair were asked about the death of Jenkins on the weekend, given that he was the prime suspect in Fiore’s murder. While on the run, wanted in connection with Fiore’s murder and mutilation in California last weekend, Jenkins was found dead in his room at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia.

In the interview, Lepore says that the death of Jenkins brings her some closure, as she no longer needs to worry about him being on the loose or hurting anyone else. Hasman said of the suicide of Jenkins that he was happy to hear the news. Indeed. Going on to say that he had rather mixed feelings about it all.

The shows Jenkins was set to appear on have been both pulled off the air, Megan Wants a Millionaire on Thursday and I Love Money 3 earlier today.

Amy Winehouse Really Likes That Shirt

Amy Winehouse always had a limited wardrobe. She was spotted performing at V Festival 2009 wearing the same shirt as she wore to V Festival in 2008.

Same beehive, but sans the hidden crack. Same check and pattern shirt, sans the vomit stains. Not the same singer by any means. The star was considered to have made a triumphant return to the stage for the indie festival. She was nothing resembling the cracked out mess she was before she kicked the worst of her drug habit. What a difference a year and a trip to sunnier climates can make. Here’s hoping she stays this healthy for the foreseeable future.
