True Blood parody on a children’s show: Sesame Street puppets do ‘True Mud’.
Sesame Street has lost its mind. Or there’s some appeal of the graphic ass phucking and throat ripping out of True Blood to the toddlers of the world that I’m just not seeing. Seriously. I like the show and towards the end of its third season I was on the edge of my seat and replaying Eric Northman’s scenes an alarming number of times over and over (until they were lather, rinse, repeated and happily burned into the back of my eyes where I could see them whenever I wanted). As if Sesame St. releasing a clip of Katy Perry’s bewbs serenading the formally pure Elmo wasn’t controvertial enough, the children’s show, that needs to get its $hit together, has released a clip in which they parody True Blood. The Sesame Street version is entitled True Mud and is sadly vampire sex-free. It shows a puppet vampire Bill, his ridiculous hair, a puppet Sookie, and Lafayette. Am I the only one hoping the infants watching have no effing idea what True Blood is? Jesus, take the wheel. If they do there’s even more sloppy, neglectful parenting going on in this world than Britney Spears has led me to believe.
