The Sopranos season 3 episode 9 The Telltale Moozadell featuring Lady Gaga.

I saw this yesterday but was having an entire day of being too over Lady Gaga to post about her. It’s kind of like having bad gas for a whole day, but requires you not to wear pants. Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, in 2001, age 15, was on an episode of The Sopranos, a show I managed to not acknowledge its entire lifespan. Seriously, this and Mad Men. It’s like they never existed. I’m not that excited about this but thought you guys might dig it. So, here’s Gaga’s attempt at method Coca Cola drinking. It’s a marvel. The Sopranos episode titled The Telltale Moozadell, the part featuring Gaga anyway, can be watched above.

There was a preview from 60 Minutes Overtime this morning that gave a sneak peek at what was going to be aired on this Sunday’s edition of 60 Minutes With Anderson Cooper. The interview aired last night and the full interview is available above. The rapper and the CNN host went on the world’s most awkward first date; wandering around in circles around his old neighbourhood and places he hung out as a kid (watch the preview if you don’t know what I’m getting at).

The musician and Cooper spent time at a club he used to do rap battles in, at an eatery he used to work at, and his private recording studio where Cooper pushed an annoyed-looking Eminem into rapping even though he seemed not to want to.

60 Minutes w/ Anderson Cooper behind-the-scenes of this weekend’s interview.

Here’s 60 Minutes Overtime with behind-the-scenes footage from 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper. It shows Cooper discussing the interview with Eminem and how they pulled that whole piece together. Cooper, who can actually interview his way out of a paper bag putting him ahead of his peers, discusses how hard it was to walk with the rapper in his old neighbourhood with the danger of crowds forming and how off-putting it was to deal with Eminem’s security detail. Eminem’s segment is set to air on Sunday, October 10 at 7 PM ET/PT.

A whole 30 seconds of Britney behind-the-scenes, non-crazy fun for Candie’s.

Here’s new video from Candie’s in which we see Britney Spears joking around behind-the-scenes trying to figure out who pooted (spoiler: it was me and those two plates of beans I ate for dinner). In this too-adorable video, Spears jokes around while you try to ignore the irritating soundtrack. It’s a whole, rare 30 seconds during which she doesn’t look crazy, greasy or unwashed. Candie’s has the sense to hose her down before filming her. This is what they ended up with.

Jane Lynch hosts Saturday Night Live October 9 with musical guest Bruno Mars.

Saturday Night Live is about to get better. For a total of one week. Then it may start to suck again immediately afterward. It’s just a hunch but I felt that was something for which you might need to prepare. For the weekend of Saturday October 9, 2010 Emmy-winning Glee actress Jane Lynch will be the host on an episode where Bruno Mars is the musical guest. Like I said, Lynch will make all things better. But I still advise you to turn the channel during parts she’s not on. Check out her episode’s promotional video from MSNBC above.While we’re on the subject, it’s being rumoured that Bruce Springsteen may appear on Glee.

Don’t Pet Sniffer Dogs When Carrying Marijuana

For those who don’t know him, this is one of May’s old comedy shows (NSFW).

Ralphie May was busted on a pot charge in Guam airport after petting a sniffer dog. This sounds like a punchline to one of the stand-up comedian’s own jokes. And it’s probably too good a line to avoid it becoming just that. May, who won Last Comic Standing, has a license to carry medical marijuana, and accidentally left some in his bag during a flight to Guam. Of how he got caught, May said, ‘When I got to baggage claim, I actually walked up to the dog. I petted Nickey, the beautiful shepherd mix, and she sat down. That indicates to the handler that I had marijuana on me. I didn’t know that, I just thought that dog loved me. Then another dog came over and it sat down as well and I petted that dog too.’ May’s penalty was a small fine because his stash was less than an ounce, ‘The customs agents said they knew I didn’t mean to smuggle drugs… cause no drug smuggler would be stupid enough to walk up to the dogs and pet them.’
