David Beckham is grateful for the Teen Choice Awards 2008 surfboard he won… he is also glad that is The Sex!

Beckham has blogged about the award and he has also given… well, the same soundbite he always gives. Faux quasi-humble claptrap that is a terrible distraction when all you want to do is look at his pretty face *sigh*.

Becks also wrote a bit about his next soccer challenge: “We’re up against Chivas USA next and of course the Home Depot Center is home for both of us, so neither side has an advantage, but the Galaxy will be going all out for the win.”

Paris Hilton should stick to her day job… remind me, what is it exactly that she does again [Website – Amy Grindhouse]?

Hilton has made a parody video, in which she engages in a mock-presidential campaign.

The clip was intended as a dig at Republican presidential candidate John McCain, who likened Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama to celebrities Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.

McCain campaign strategist, Steve Schmidt said:

“It’s beyond dispute that [Obama] has become the biggest celebrity in the world. But do the American people really want to elect the biggest celebrity in the world?”

Hi, y’all, Amy here :D

This is just an extremely brief note to say ‘Hello‘ to the surge of visitors that I have gotten over the weekend and today (mostly here due to the Brangelina twin pic spread from Hello!) [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

There are a lot of you floating about in here, happily lurking, so I just want to take a moment to say two quick things…

First of all, I am so grateful to you… yes, you… for reading this site.

Second of all, don’t be shy! I don’t bite… well not often! I notice that there are a lot of you reading, but no comments as yet, so I am taking the liberty of getting the ball rolling.

Think Mary-Kate is hiding something? Agree that Batman is too violent for young children? Or are you just permanently perplexed by Miley Cyrus’ chin (lol)?

‘Transformers 2′ Script Writers Get Creative With Shia

Shia LaBeouf’s car accident will be written into the script for ‘Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen’.

I have to admit, it is past 11 p.m. and I have been building this site and blogging on it, oh, for damn near three days straight… so, forgive me for not rehashing the specifics of the crash.

In brief, LaBeouf was in a nasty accident in which his car ended up up-side-down in the middle of the road… no-one was killed… he got away with it… he hurt his head, hand and knee.

Contrary to earlier reports, Transformers director Michael Bay, says LaBeouf’s injurys are not costing the studio $200,000 per day. Only $199,999… just kidding.

“The car crash with Shia is unexpected, but we are still filming,” Bay wrote on the official Transformers 2 site. “The movie has not shut down — there is plenty to do without Shia. The shooting is also going great — I’m having a blast making this movie! Shia will be back soon and we all wish him a fast recovery.”

As you read this, I am totally typing out a poison-pen ‘cease-and-desist’ letter, which in no uncertian terms, states that I do not find her attempts at inflicting her ‘music’ on the unsuspecting public, amusing.

Lohan’s music video for her Heidi Montag-esque song, ‘All The Way Around’, can be seen below (for those who hate themselves enough to sit through the whole thing).

It was released about a week ago, but I dismissed it as a joke and so it didn’t get posted on my other blogs.

I tried to watch this shit, but I only got about 5 seconds in. How far did you get?

Lindsay Lohan has hit back at the Police Chief, Willy Bratton, who has made smarmy comments about her love life. Lohan spoke out to TMZ in retaliation, which is, totally the done thing in this situation, you understand.

“Police chiefs shouldn’t get involved in everyone else’s business when it comes to their personal life. It’s inappropriate.”
