Scarlett Johansson Saturday Night Live Promo

Scarlett Johansson Saturday Night Live promo video alongside Jason Sudeikis.

Scarlett Johansson’s hair makes me feel oddly sad, in this promo. Johansson will be the host of this weekend’s SNL and so she’s promoting the November 13 episode with Jason Sudeikis. Johansson’s third hosting gig will feature Arcade Fire as the musical guest. With a much better weave, Anne Hathaway will host the following weekend, with Florence and The Machine as the musical guest.

Kanye West Performs Songs on Plane Intercom

Kanye West performs Gold Digger & The Good Life, on a plane intercom system.

Kanye West has a recently-finished poorly-titled album to promote, and it’s not going to sell itself. Moreover, near 40-minute-long music videos don’t pay for themselves. On a Delta flight from Minneapolis to New York, West began an impropmtu mini-concert for fellow passengers. Taking over the speaker system, in a manner you would think would get him shot (but for the fact he asked first), he did PG-rated versions of Gold Digger and The Good Life. Because you don’t get free versions of his forthcoming tracks without bootlegging them first.

Kendra Wilkinson Doesn’t Have a Very Hard Life

Kendra Wilkinson on Today: Playboy decision is ‘hardest decision of my life’.

Kendra Wilkinson says turning down Playboy has been ‘the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make in my life.’ She actually said that, on The Today Show Thursday morning. This is a woman who thinks that living in a different city to her husband, sometimes, of her own choosing, makes her a single mother. And, apparently, that decision pales in comparison to whether or not she should get paid to flash just enough labia-edge to keep the punters happy (while keeping on the right side of classy). The moron, who I can only assume with tales of a rough childhood is discounting the first 18 years of her life altogether, said on the television show ‘I want to be that hot mom in the public eye, but I’m like, ‘Do I need to do Playboy again to be hot in the public eye again?” Well, yes… clearly.

William Shatner Does F**k You on Lopez Tonight

Video of William Shatner on Lopez Tonight covering F**k You by Cee-Lo Green.

William Shatner should cover every song ever. And he should be making them all sound this bad. Reminding you how good some of the originals are. It has been revealed Gwyneth Paltrow will be singing an edited version of F**k You, the weaker/ clumsier Forget You radio edit, on a forthcoming episode of Glee. William Shatner beat her to the punch. Because he’s William Shatner. And that’s how he rolls. The actor, standing in front of someone who appears to be wearing a Star Trek sweater, covers F**k You by Cee-Lo. It’s the worst/ best thing ever.

Hulk Hogan Flashes His Leathery Old Man Junk

Hulk Hogan flashes @ 1:10 playing Def Jam Rapstar w/ his daughter & girlfriend.

In something I gather comprises at least part of a commercial for Def Jam Rapstar, which I’m NEVER buying, Hulk Hogan flashes his junk. His old, gristly man-junk. Got that nice visual stuck in your head now? Good. The video, which is censored with a comically over-sized black bar, shows Brooke Hogan, Hulk Hogan, and Hulk’s girlfriend who still looks altogether too much like his daughter. They’re playing in what I assume is a hotel room (I’m loathe to watch the whole thing and check). After 1:10, Hogan pulls a Brett Favre/ Kanye West and whips out his d**k and b**ls. More than once. With his daughter next to him.

Christina Aguilera Express Song from Burlesque

Christina Aguilera stopped giving passive-agressive interviews with magazines long enough to get some work done. With the premiere of Express (E-X-P-R-E-S-S) on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Wednesday morning. Aguilera, now a single mother getting divorced, releasing a movie of questionable quality off the back of a failed album, sings the above. It’s the theme song to Aguilera’s December-release movie, Burlesque. A movie also starring Cher and Stanley Tucci. Both of whom are polite enough to only act her to the far left, rather than right off the screen in scenes they share. This song, which I was expecting to be worse, pretty much sums up the movie. It’s worth checking out and tapping your feet to. But it’s oddly forgettable and lacks real substance. Shouty McRedLips does an outstanding vocal here though. Actually, it’s worth at least a quick listen on the basis of that alone. The soundtrack, released on iTunes November 16, is probably going to be the only interesting thing about the movie. So along with the recently-released I Am A Good Girl song, we can expect more of the same.
