George Clooney has made the dreams of many sadistic women come true, by offering himself up for adoption [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

“I always wanted to be adopted, but I couldn’t find anyone,” said the Clooney, speaking at a Newseum event in Washington, D.C., with his dad, former Ohio news anchor Nick Clooney, and veteran journalist Bill Small on either side of him. ”Will you adopt me?” Clooney said to Small. “I’m very wealthy. I’ll take care of you.”

My mother might be a willing participant; she has the same taste in men as me and is hurting for someone to mollycoddle and steal her meds since I left home. Oi, CLOONEY… can my mummy adopt you?

Paula Abdul claims that she  has been a heavy influence on pop stars like Beyonce and Rihanna [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

The American Idol judge, 46, says that modern-day pop tarts have stolen her crown. She also thinks her turdy 80′s hits are a big part of the reason for their success:

“My videos stand the test of time. They are like the almanac for every performer. Even Rhianna has come up to me and said ‘I hope you don’t mind.’ And Beyonce. You can see the influence of what I’ve done.”

“It’s really fun to see that I’ve left a mark. It was my idea to create an animated character. It takes a lot of focus, a lot time, and a lot of money.”

Kevin Jonas, of boyband The Jonas Brothers (pictured far right), has admitted that he is “really bad at spelling”. The 21-year-old says that he has struggled with writing and it has caused problems in previous relationships [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

In a new interview with M Magazine (via Pop Crunch), Jonas explains that he has both very poor spelling AND poor taste in women:

“I’m really bad at spelling. And I had this one girlfriend who would send back the notes I wrote her with all the spelling errors circled!”

GAWD – since his career went in the shitter, there aren’t nearly enough excuses for me to write about the 200lbs of FAIL that are Ben Affleck [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

Apparently, Ben Affleck doesn’t think Saint Angelina Jolie has the star power necessary to be a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations. Or, at least that’s what he joked when talking about the actress, at the press conference for his shit short movie, ‘Gimme Shelter’, in NYC on Wednesday.

Via US Weekly:

“UNHCR has to find a goodwill ambassador who will get the attention of the president because the woman they’ve got is not high profile enough,” Affleck said.
