I don’t like Rihanna. She’s just another very pretty girl with a very mediocre ‘talent,’ IMO. However, every now and then I check in on celebrities who’ve long been blacklisted for shenanigans. This is one of those times. And this is her second Vogue cover in a year, and Vogue is somewhat averse to putting women of colour on their covers. So, yeah. This is Rihanna’s British Vogue November 2011 cover. I hate the top half of that dress. Everything from the waist down is interesting and flattering but the chest ‘plate’ part is digging into her armpit. And she’s wearing another blonde wig, she wore a wig just as unflattering for her Armani underwear adverts. Are you over people putting her in bad blonde wigs? Several comments I’m reading right now see it as white-washing. Do you agree?

Britney Spears Can’t Even Lesbian Kiss Any More
Okay, so for those who missed precisely nothing by ignoring the Billboard Awards, you also missed nothing with the world’s laziest display of feigned lesbianism. In a stunt that was either too heavily-reliant on Britney Spears’ diminished sense of timing or just a cute peck on the cheek, it would appear that Spears and She Of Whom We Do Not Speak kissed on stage. I don’t mean with tongues. Nor even with half the vigor Spears put into the choreographed kiss with Madonna. But, somewhere after the finger banging by backing dancers and working the stripper pole, there was enough sapphic action to prompt producers to cut away and back again leaving the kiss out. It’s above, for anyone whose right click still works.
Britney Spears’ Arthritic Dancing To S&M Remix
I’m keeping the mentions of you know who to a minimum since she’s still banned, but this performance also features Britney Spears whose medicated brand of arthritic dancing stole the show. Below is Rihanna’s live S&M remix performance from the Billboard Awards. The track starts off with Rihanna’s usual abrasive gyrating of her Labia of Doom ™ at the screen, before a bunch of disembodied hands appear to start grabbing at her crotch. Then, mercifully, the pap smear is interrupted by Spears miming and wearing the feminine version of a Frank mask from Donnie Darko. The half-hearted miming done by Spears wasn’t even in time with the track and it was pretty noticeable Rihanna had to slow down to match the 29-year-old’s pace once she made her reveal from underneath the stage.

Rihanna And Chris Brown Following Each Other
I’m kind of over writing about both of these people, Penis Lite ™ with his convenient memory and Rihanna’s pugnacious attitude towards fans. However, I thought this was noteworthy. So it’s getting coverage. This weekend, Rihanna decided to follow Chris Brown’s Twitter and in return he very quickly followed her back. I don’t even know what to say about that, so I’m just going to spell this out and then douse my whole body in eye bleach. It would appear she decided to follow him first. According to MediaTakeOut.com, their source claims the former abusive couple sent around a dozen private messages to each other this weekend. Being Media TakeOut, they have no proof or screen caps to support their claims. Which means that’s probably a lie too. But there you go. One Rihanna fan, a 14-year-old girl, noticed they were following each other and asked, pretty politely, what she was thinking. ‘It’s f**kin Twitter not the [altar], calm down,’ Rihanna replied, in the same abrasive manner she addresses all fans who don’t kiss her a$$. She later apologised to the same fan, but she’s still really rude.
Rihanna Is Not Dating or Sexting Colin Farrell
Rihanna did not begin text message flirting with Colin Farrell after the two met for the first time on the UK’s Graham Norton Show in February. Reports circulated that the singer, 23, and actor, 34, were dating (read: sleeping together) after they were both seen at a Los Angeles, CA restaurant on Wednesday night. However, a source tells People they weren’t even there together; it was a coincidence. ‘They are not dating,’ the source told the magazine, ‘It was absolute coincidence they were at Giorgio Baldi at the same time.’ Adding, ‘Colin was there at a business dinner and Rihanna was across the room.’ So, they absolutely weren’t even close enough for their genitals to touch, making all that sexy action pretty difficult. A spokesperson for Farrell had no comment, but the same source adds the sexting rumour was also untrue. ‘There’s no truth whatsoever to the reports and rumors that they’re dating.’
Rihanna Vogue Magazine April 2011 Cover Photo
Rihanna covers Vogue April 2011. I wrote a while ago about how the singer was going to be covering American Vogue’s April cover, as she wrote about the shoot on Twitter in early January. The 23-year-old wrote on her Twitter, January 13, she’d wrapped her first cover for the fashion magazine and had been photographed by Annie Leibovitz. I don’t know if I like the cover. She kind of looks like a Little Mermaid/ Jessica Rabbit-hybrid, with the over-excitable hair stylist going for the brightest red wig they could find. And she’s standing outside, which makes an unusual cover (unusual aside from the Gwyneth Paltrow’s American Vogue cover by Herb Ritts in March 2002 which looked really similar in composition). Well, Rihanna’s contortionist, awkwardly-posed, mermaid cover is teamed with a mermaid dress. According to someone at TheFashionSpot, the outfit’s ‘a modified version of [a] Chanel Pre-fall 11 dress,’ and by ‘modified,’ they mean the boob area’s been cut out as Rihanna likes to flash flesh. I’d usually skip over this cover, as I pretty much don’t like anything about Rihanna at this point, but I like Vogue covers and leaked covers and couldn’t resist posting this. There’s nothing from inside the issue, yet. Nor a leak of her interview. I’d expect it to be pretty dull, as this appears to be ‘The 10th Annual Shape Issue,’ with a byline about ‘How [Rihanna] Really Feels About Her Curves’. Fine, I would guess. As, when asked on Twitter about the release of nude/ topless pictures, she joked about how they were taken when she ‘was skinny.’ Cele|Bitchy notes the cover’s pretty interesting on two fronts; it’s a pop star cover, rather than a movie star, moreover, it’s a Vogue cover for a woman of colour, that’s flattering. We all know the latter happens less than the former.
