Rihanna is Subtle While Straddling this Tank

Rihanna is Subtle While Straddling this Tank

Ever since the Good Girl Gone Bad album, Rihanna’s sexuality has been about as subtle as a slap in the face. The singer has spent her last few music videos in assorted states of undress, and grinding on oiled-up male dancers performing the same songs on stage. I’m pretty sure she’s copying me; while blogging, like, right now, I’m scantily-clad and straddling a backing dancer. I don’t happen to need backing dancers, naked or otherwise, really, but it adds to the overall affect. Y’alls can tell that my blogging improves drastically when I’m surrounded by greasy men, right? That’s what I thought… so they’re staying. Pictures show Alien Princess Riri being subtle and riding assorted props on stage performing on the second leg of her UK tour at The Liverpool Echo Arena on Saturday, 8th May 2010. Some of the pictures show her with a lucky fan on stage, as she performs.

Rihanna Rolling Stone May Photo Shoot Preview

Alien Princess RiRi has done a photo shoot for the May 2010 issue of Rolling Stone magazine. The magazine already had the BEPs dressed like aliens, and they wanted to switch from imitation to the real thing. There’s no faking it, and their sophisticated fan-base can totally tell the difference. This picture is from on the set of the shoot that will be the focus for the May 2010 cover. Apparently, according to RiRi Daily, there will be more pictures coming later in the week.

Photos from Rihanna Te Amo Music Video Shoot

Rihanna’s labia are currently shooting the music video to the rather bland single Te Amo. I point that out as, from these photos, the promo is going to be All Vajay Edge: All The Time. The song does little for me, hopefully the video will be better. Homegirl can make some mediocre songs, but she does give good video.

The star can be seen in these candids as she makes her way onto the set. Her hair is shaved further, and she’s very heavily made-up and couture-clad. She can be seen in more photos below, as she shoots in Paris, France on April 29, 2010.

No, Rihanna Wasn’t Kidding With this Outfit

Rihanna has made sure the men of the world know she’s off the market, and dating baseball player Matt Kemp, by wearing this hideous outfit. You know, as a turn off, the way some girls let themselves go by eating pudding and Jelly Babies and filling out a little (what the heck are you looking at me for?? Teehee). The singer has turned us all off with the most hideous outfit she could slap together from the designer threads in her wardrobe.Well played, Rihanna. Well played.

Yeah, Rihanna Probably Got Thrush After This

Rihanna made an appearance on American Idol, during which she performed her new single Rockstar 101. She pulled a Jennifer Lopez and crammed herself into a skin-tight catsuit, which looked like it did little more than cause a yeast infection/ ungodly itching sensation. Is a girl supposed to carry natural yoghurt with her everywhere? The black PVC almost looked painted on. It’s so tight, I can see everything. I think I need to buy this girl dinner after looking at these.

There are some more screen caps, and the full video of her performance, below.

Rihanna Hates Product Placement in her Videos

Rihanna has given an interview with NME, in which she takes an odd/ slow route to losing some of her music video sponsors. Any of the 25million people who had their eyes raped by the Lady Gaga Telephone video will know how annoying product placement is. We all know it’s a necessary evil, as expensive as music videos are. I watched the video and I only got through about three minutes of footage, as that’s all that contained music and no-brands being shoved in my face (and I LOL’ed as the British version, that aired on TV much later, had all the goofy placement blurred out). However, Rihanna is a little more self-aware of how all this comes across. A little. Not really mentioning her hypocrisy, given the heavy branding from different make-up and electronics brands in her videos, she says she hates the focus on product and would rather let her videos tell the story.

  • Rihanna on product placement in music videos: “I don’t like things to be so commercial. I hate product placement in my videos. Videos should just tell the story of the song. With product placement it becomes this big ad campaign. I just don’t like that. Sometimes we have to, for whatever political reason, but it’s never my first choice.” [That Grape Juice]

Yeah, like I said, there are quicker ways to lose the support of your sponsors.
