Tom Cruise Would Never Get Plastic Surgery

Tom Cruise covers W Magazine June 2012, for which there’s now an extensive photo shoot although the interview snippets are meager. The 49-year-old tells the magazine of his role in Rock Of Ages: ‘I knew we had to push the sexuality because of the nature of the character and the songs.’ Explaining why he chose a musical, he continues: ’Kate loves musicals. She sings and dances, and we kind of went through the history of musicals together. And Suri loved Hairspray. With kids, you watch everything over and over; I watched Hairspray 15 times with Suri.’ He says his love of music started years ago: ‘You know what? I did the scene from Risky Business around the house. I would sing… and I’d turn the music up. I learned how to dance watching Soul Train. I noticed that if a guy could dance, he’d get a lot of attention and girls would want to dance with him. I worked very hard at imitating those moves.’ And that’s about it, because W spent more time waxing and man-scaping than it did interviewing the actor. But Playboy picked up the slack with its own interview. Not counting the facials or other non-surgical procedures from before John Travolta scared off the help, Cruise tells Playboy he never has and ‘never would’ tweak the face Xenu gave him. The W photo shoot and excerpts from the Playboy interview are below.

Sinead O’Connor Wants To Pose For Playboy

Following a request for a sexual partner on the Internet, and the live-tweeting of her wedding to her fourth husband, her honeymoon, the break-up, the rekindling, her nervous breakdown and request for mental health help, Sinead O’Connor is still over-sharing about her great decision-making. The 45-year-old has revealed that being under-paid for doing a pointless pr0n is on her bucket list. ‘There’s so much I wouldn’t liked to do when I was younger and I was too miserable and Irish,’ O’Connor said of her attitude to sex changing as she gets older. ‘A Playboy shoot is on my bucket list. And I like the idea of doing some interview in weird sex gear, talking about something really serious. The economy! You can talk about serious issues while you’re buck naked. On all fours in your dog collar!’

Michael Lohan Talks Lindsay’s Playboy Cover

Michael Lohan will appear on Dr Drew’s Lifechangers show and there’s a preview of his interview. The interview would be a non-event, since it’s mostly about his on-off girlfriend, Kate Major, except for Lohan’s visible discomfort with a covered nude of his daughter only a few feet away. The namedropping patriarch was asked whether he thought the move into soft porn was a good one, to which he replied… MEH. ‘I heard [the nudes were] classy,’ said Lohan, 51. ‘She did some movies that were a little risque at times and I couldn’t even go to the movies to watch them; I wanted to, but I couldn’t. [Playboy is] a move in a direction where she’s working, so as far as I’m concerned it is a good move.

Hugh Hefner Pushed Lindsay Lohan To Go Nude

Of course a porn-monger pushed a broke, addict recidivist with few other career options into nudity. Of COURSE. It had been rumoured that Lindsay Lohan only did the Playboy shoot because she was broke. Then, Hefner admitted he saw Lohan as flaky and unstable. That didn’t stop him from goading her into showing more biscuit, even though it was met with protest from her handlers and pimp momager: ‘The pictorial and the concept for the pictorial came from me,’ Hefner told E! ‘She had done semi-nudes before. I wanted to do something that would be memorable. So what is more natural, since she is a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe, than do something that is a tribute… I think it was essentially mama and the folks around her that kept pushing for less nudity. I said, ‘We’re doing a nude pictorial here. We’re going to do it in a classy way and we’re going to do it in a way which it will not be forgotten.’ It turned into something bigger than life.’

Playboy Can’t Decide On Its Fake Sales Figures

Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy cover has been released nearly a month early because of the leak and Playboy is trying to handle this publicity stunt by releasing fake sales information to TMZ.com. At least, I glean so from the fact different outlets are reporting wildly different numbers. TMZ appears to have been fed inflated numbers by Playboy, to make it seem as though the issue is sold out: ‘Lindsay Lohan definitely gave Playboy their money’s worth, because the issue is selling out all across the country. According to our sources, newsstands in major cities like New York and Los Angeles have had to re-order the issue multiple times. Our sources say Lindsay’s appearance in the mag has also had an effect online as well, where the mag has seen a huge increase in subscription sales.’ Except, you know, never happened. At least according to Fox News, who report very different findings: ‘Fox411 spent Friday morning trolling the shelves of newsstands and gas stations from New York to Philadelphia… ‘No one has bought it,’ was the resounding answer to our query at each stop.’ Okay then, so why isn’t it selling? ‘I’m not surprised at all. Despite Playboy’s hype, there was nothing particularly shocking or new about this shoot,’ said Lux Alptraum, editor of Fleshbot.com. ‘While these shots may have been slightly closer to full frontal than Lindsay’s previous shots, they weren’t actually full frontal; there was also nothing particularly new about Lindsay dressing up as Marilyn Monroe… I thought the shots were really boring and didn’t really live up to the promises Playboy had made. If they’d actually gotten full frontal shots of Lindsay, or come up with a fresher, more interesting concept, there might have been more demand.’

Hugh Hefner Admits Lindsay Lohan Is Unstable

Since there’s nothing more endearing than admitting you basically lured the biscuits of a mentally and financially-unstable addict to pose naked out of desperation, here’s Hugh Hefner trying to promote Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy cover. Since Lohan flaked on The Ellen DeGeneres Show by missing her flight from Hawaii, there’s literally no other scheduled promotion for the issue that’s being moved up from its January 2012 release date to… now. So Hefner gave this interview with E! during its 10-minutes-a-week dedicated to people who aren’t Kardashians but are still whores. Hefner said he knows the ginger biscuits are cracked but exploitation’s really a win-win, when you think about it: ‘[The initial pitch for Lindsay Lohan] really came as a surprise to me. I kind of had mixed emotions about it initially, and then it turned into something bigger than life’, he said, admitting the re-shoots were because the first wasn’t as polished or styled as he wanted. ‘I wasn’t quite sure where she was at in her life, obviously. It depends on whether it’s Tuesday or Thursday.’ Lohan’s court photos below.
