According to reports, Whitney Houston’s death will be ruled accidental. E! Online claims the death was accidental rather than the result of deliberate action on the behalf of the star or any third-party. Moreover, notes a source, ‘she had no marks on her body whatsoever to indicate a struggle, she was the furthest thing from trying to kill herself.’ So the tabloid claims of suicide can be written off. The investigation is ongoing, pending the official results of the toxicology which could be back early as next week. In related news, despite claims they would not investigate the matter, Houston’s family has asked authorities to find the leak of the death photo. The image was taken of Houston in her casket at the funeral home. The home’s owner denounced the action taken inside the private, invite-only viewing and denied wrongdoing on behalf of herself and her staff.

Staff at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where Whitney Houston died while getting ready for the Clive Davis pre-Grammys party that went on without her, have reportedly been fired for blabbing to the press. Houston died over a week ago in room 434 of the hotel that was quickly reoccupied with new guests. After that, the Houston family had the room stripped of anything that could be sold as memorabilia. RadarOnline.com reports staff who spoke to the media were chastised, then fired: ‘The hotel employees that talked to the media were fired because they violated hotel policy,’ says a source. ‘They weren’t high level employees, but the hotel didn’t want anyone to talk about Whitney’s death.’

Whitney Houston died age 48, confirmed her publicist, the police, and the Associated Press. A member of her entourage found Houston in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel where paramedics later found her unresponsive after being called by security. Attempts at CPR failed to revive the singer who was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. Saturday. The last time Houston was in public was on Thursday for the Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love Of R&B pre-GRAMMY Party at Tru Hollywood, where Houston looked out of it. Houston went on stage for what became her final performance. Before that, Houston was spotted with on-off boyfriend Ray-J last weekend. Houston died hours before she was scheduled to sing at Clive Davis’s annual pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday. Her mother, Cissy Houston, spoke to the singer 30-minutes before death and says she seemed fine. Cousin Dionne Warwick spoke to the 48-year-old hours before the Davis party, telling TMZ that nothing seemed amiss.

The police issued a statement: ‘I can confirm that Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. We received a call at 3:43 p.m. from hotel security and Beverly Hills Fire and police responded minutes later,’ Beverly Hills Police Lieutenant Mark Rosen told People.com. ‘It’s unclear who notified hotel staff because she has quite an entourage here at the hotel. We attempted to resuscitate her, to no avail… We don’t know yet [whether there was any evidence of drugs or foul play], her death is under investigation.’

In news that will shock no one, Kris Jenner has been confirmed as the pimp hand of some lube for old women. Well, I don’t think it’s old lady lube. But it may as well be, because no one else will buy it now. Jenner’s publicist leaked this to Lies&Style, the Kardashian’s go-to shill tabloid, ‘Life & Style has exclusively learned that she’s signed on to be the spokeswoman for [shill brand], which claims to enhance a woman’s sexual pleasure by heightening sensitivity to touch.’ A source claims: ‘She’s tried it and uses it. She wants to promote great sex [shill brand] is an over-the-counter product clinically proven to enhance a woman’s sexual pleasure.’ Not realising L&S would give the game away by copy & pasting that press release, Jenner blogged it in her own words: ‘It’s forever changed my experience in the bedroom and I’m sure it will do the same for you. And, who wouldn’t want to try something that works in minutes and makes sex feel…well, amazing? I love instant gratification.’ Instant gratification? No s**t.

Basically… yes. Last week, it was reported that the sister of singers Nick Carter and Aaron Carter, Leslie Carter, 25, died of an overdose of anti-depressants. It was all around horrid and tragic and, according to some, inevitable because her family was one big exploitation machine and she never had a chance. She passed and was survived by a 10-month-old daughter and a husband. The funeral was this weekend. As in Sunday 5. The same date Nick Carter was seven-hours away in concert. Well, this is awkward. Us Weekly claims the former Backstreet Boy blew off the funeral to instead honour a ‘previously booked engagement at the iHeart Performance Studio in Bala Cynwyd, PA’ the same night; his third pre-booked performance since the death on February 1. However, notes TMZ.com, it’s more complicated than that since the 32-year-old claimed he would have attended the Freay Funeral Home Mayville, N.Y. and the Chautauqua County Cemetery where his sister was laid to rest… except no one told him about it. He told TMZ: ‘I wanted to be at my sister’s funeral, but my family has always had a complicated dynamic. There are so many emotions for me surrounding the loss of my sister. I am trying to stay healthy, positive, and focused.’ Sources tell TMZ: Nick feels the family went out of their way to make sure he wasn’t included.
