Katy Perry has released an extended eight-minute version of her Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F) music video for those fans who can’t survive on four minutes of her breasts wrapped in neon 80s garb. After days of teasers mentioning that Rebecca Black, whose video has reached over 160,000,000 views on YouTube, would be in the video, we got the shorter and the extended releases of the same video. The Funny Or Die/ VEVO extended video is below and features even more cameos than the leaked, shorter, video from the weekend. As well as Black, Hanson, Kenny G, and Glee’s Kevin McHale, this version also includes Corey Feldman and Debbie Gibson, as Perry’s parents who return early, and Darren Criss of Glee. It’s amusing, if off-putting that Perry’s supposed to be 13-years-old and stacked with the help of cutlets. More to the point, Black’s a stand-out star, as are the cameos, leaving Perry the least-interesting part of her own video.

The Person Scrubbing Britney Needs A Medal
Whoever it is washing and brushing each crevice of this woman before she appears at photo shoots needs a medal. This is the recently-released single cover for Britney Spears’ latest song, one of the weakest on her album by far, I Wanna Go. It’s a pretty lazy affair, and despite an album full of samey pop material this is still a stand-out for the wrong reasons. But she’s running with it. She’s also medicated, so I can’t get too mad at her. This is the… cleanest… I’ve seen Spears look in months. And that’s including all recent magazine covers and other single art. Something as simple as wringing the grease out of her hair and brushing away the assorted chip crumbs from her person has somehow shaved years off the 29-year-old. If it’s not any of the above, and it’s a miracle of Photoshop, I demand that wizard show themselves so we can make a ‘Thank you’ baby thing.
Kanye West Releases Video Months After Leak
Kanye West has released the music video to his Monster track, featuring Rick Ross, Jay-Z, and Nicki Minaj (the version leaked online in December was a rough cut with some temporary scenes for filler). I don’t have much to say, as I already posted about this when it leaked. A couple of notes, though: this is just a tidied up version of the leak, it’s the same old, really; it’s got one or two extra scenes with dead dudes, C&P’d in after some oversensitive people complained the rough cut was misogynistic; it’s a little neater around the edges and continuity issues have been fixed, most noticeable were the intolerably inconsistent scenes with Minaj; its storyline is clearer and there is more focus on the faces of the dead bodies and playing with the bodies than in the first cut. It’s also in much higher definition and the annoying synching issues are gone. Watch the final cut below.

Adele’s Hair Extensions Cover 300th Issue Of Q
Adele’s hair gets its own cover for the 300th issue of Britain’s Q Magazine. There has been some complaining about Photoshop shenanigans with Adele’s covers; the loudest regarding her Rolling Stone cover. I don’t think anyone messed with the Rolling Stone cover. And I think the above cover uses clever lighting. She’s lit to heck and I could swear the crew used the Sun itself to backlight her. This is a leak, so she’ll look better on the official release of the cover. But she still looks a touch washed out. Not that it matters. Because, as I mentioned before, there’s a shenanigans amnesty for people with actual talent. I’d actually forgive a pretty serious, hypothetical, cocaine or alcohol problem at this point. She’s that good.
Britney Spears’ Arthritic Dancing To S&M Remix
I’m keeping the mentions of you know who to a minimum since she’s still banned, but this performance also features Britney Spears whose medicated brand of arthritic dancing stole the show. Below is Rihanna’s live S&M remix performance from the Billboard Awards. The track starts off with Rihanna’s usual abrasive gyrating of her Labia of Doom ™ at the screen, before a bunch of disembodied hands appear to start grabbing at her crotch. Then, mercifully, the pap smear is interrupted by Spears miming and wearing the feminine version of a Frank mask from Donnie Darko. The half-hearted miming done by Spears wasn’t even in time with the track and it was pretty noticeable Rihanna had to slow down to match the 29-year-old’s pace once she made her reveal from underneath the stage.
Beyonce Finally Releases Run The World Video
Beyonce has finally released the Run The World music video after more teaser videos than I could easily keep track of. The singer tried to use the Britney Spears/ Lady Gaga method of releasing a million previews before her official release. However, the clips I saw were of manic-depressive models walking around in black and white. Some didn’t feature Beyonce at all. I actually thought this video came out weeks ago because of how sloppily the promotion was handled. But it just came out today. The music video is below and I’m only part way through watching it. There’s a bunch of production from another song… and we all know how Beyonce likes to take credit for other musicians’ work. I’m waiting for her to claim she originally-produced this whole thing. The song she ‘borrowed’ from this time is Major Lazer’s Pon De Floor which is also below.
