American Idol Confirms its Two New Judges

After weeks of rumours, about which has been would be filling up their days listening to Special Snowflake 1 and Special Snowflake 2 ‘singing’ like they’re in the shower, the two new American Idol judges have been confirmed.

AmericanIdol.com, TMZ.com, and others played a live stream late Wednesday, that I saw but didn’t feel like watching all the way through (I saw Randy Jackson too pleased to still have a job, an unnecessarily smug-looking Jennifer Lopez, and a lost-looking Steven Tyler… so I tuned out). It showed Jackson, the only person from last season who didn’t quit or get fired, sitting on a panel with Lopez and Aerosmith’s Tyler. I can’t even pretend I’m under the impression Lopez still has a career. She seems to be doing little but parent (which is fair enough) and show up on red carpets to promote whichever vanity project she’s indulging in that week. Tyler, recently seen being pushed off stage by his band mate, is in the lineup too. It’s official, so hopefully rumours about who replaces Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres, Paula Abdul, and Kara DioGuardi will stop.

Pictures show Ryan Seacrest unveiling the Idol season 10 judges, Jackson, Lopez, and Tyler at The Forum in Inglewood, California on September 22nd, 2010.

Kanye West Previews 40 Minute Runaway Video

Kanye West has released a preview for his forthcoming video, his overcompensation for the 2-minute-long Power video. That was such a little piece of video that I initially thought I was watching an overlong preview in itself; some kind of precursor to this type of near hour-long self-indulgent clusterf**k. It wasn’t. It was a two-minute-long video that ended the second it reached any kind of crescendo in one of the  biggest musical anti-climaxes I’ve ever experienced. Hopefully this will fare better. Above is a preview of West’s upcoming 40-minute-long music mini-movie, Runaway. Its actual release should coincide with the release of Dark Twisted Fantasy, his re-named album.

Willow Smith Has a Teaser to Whip My Hair

Willow Smith Whip My Hair teaser as taken from YouTube.com/WillowSmith.

So, I guess from the initial post I did about this kid having any kind of career, most of you don’t really like little Willow Smith. I put up a poll in that post, and it was pretty split, but most of you pretty much didn’t like the nine-year-old’s debut single, Whip My Hair. I’m kind of on the fence and I’m prepared to afford her leeway, given her young age/ obvious style and personality. It’s just nice to see someone who came out of the womb with that much style and she talks like her parents instilled some sense into her as well. There seemed to be some concerns, at the release of the song, that she could wrap her childhood up in a bow and mail it to the same place I posted my sobriety (wherever that is, they don’t do returns). I think Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith are better parents than that, so I’m not going to pay that much more than lip service. That out of the way, and now that she has a record deal (which she did not upon the song’s release), here is the official teaser for Whip My Hair as taken from her YouTube.

Taylor Momsen Make Me Wanna Die Music Video

Taylor Momsen Make Me Wanna Die video, using Eminem’s CGI flame budget.

Taylor Momsen has released an appropriately-titled music video, considering the recent comments from Tim Gunn. For those who missed that hilarity, Gunn, who filmed a cameo on Gossip Girl on set with Taylor Momsen, was less than impressed with the 17-year-old, whom he called a ‘spoiled’ ‘brat’, and a ‘diva’ for sexting on her ‘Berry between takes and suffering the affects of boot polish poisoning. In the video for Make Me Wanna Die, with her band the Pretty Reckless, with whom she performed at John Galiano’s latest perfume launch on September 13, 2010 in Paris, France, we can see Momsen worsening that image. She’s barely dressed to begin with and spends the parts of this video in which she’s not aflame (using Eminem’s budget CGI fire) stripping in a graveyard.

Katy Perry on the Italian Version of X Factor

Katy Perry sings California Gurls, from Teenage Dream album, on X Factor Italy.

Katy Perry, on the episode of the show that aired last week, was a guest judge on the UK’s X Factor. Above is video of the singer, who I guess is still thrashing her California Gurls single, on the Italian version of X Factor. I’m probably, once again, wasting my time typing underneath Perry in a rubber dress. But common sense compels me to use this space for something other than penis doodles.

Katy Perry is THIS Determined to Entertain You

Katy Perry’s breasts made an appearance on The Today Show, this morning, Friday August 27, 2010. The singer, whose album cover for Teenage Dream sees her struck down with The Nakeds, performed a song that really needs to die a fiery death, her single, California Gurls. We’ve already seen Perry at The Late Show With David Letterman, this week, promoting her album. Now, she’s doing the same on early morning television. Her breasts are generally not approved for these kinds of hours of the morning. However, MSNBC decided to make an exception. Because, let’s face it TGIF, they decided to throw in some shots of her pantless as well. More pictures and video of the performance, below.

Oh, some of the pictures in the gallery, from today’s MSNBC performance, are more adorable than racy. And, I mean ADORABLE. Consider yourself warned.
