Madonna Thought This Outfit Was A Great Idea

Here’s an outfit Madonna wore on purpose to the Weinstein Company with The Cinema Society & Forevermark premiere of W.E., held at the Ziegfeld Theater NYC January 23. I don’t know if the cape and fingerless gloves from the previous outfit have mutated, but anecdotal evidence leads me to believe… YES!!!

Salma Hayek Upgrades To Leather Dirty Pillows

Here’s Salma Hayek on the red carpet after having her dirty pillows reupholstered in leather. Honestly, I don’t have any witty commentary to go with these photos of Hayek at the Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Paris, France premiere this weekend. But the power of breasts compels me to post these because they’re shiny.

I Do Not Approve Of This Vanessa Hudgens

For the record, no, I do not co-sign a Vanessa Hudgens who forsakes nudity as part of the promotional trail. Here’s Hudgens on the red carpet for her latest movie, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. I assume she did interviews too, or whatever. But I’m still waiting on that Google Alert for ‘Biscuit hack, Jack.’ I’m mad for you. You’re being cheated out of an obviously-contrived publicity stunt because someone’s suddenly too highfalutin to upskirt herself for MONIES.

Madonna W.E.Premiere: Lace Cape, Red Gloves

Madonna premiered W.E. in London this afternoon, following its TIFF and NYC screenings. The film feels old already, since it’s been such a long time coming. But it’s only just getting a real premiere now. Okay, the outfit. I’m going to assume this is supposed to be an invisibility cape, because Madonna is ashamed of her work. Is this the Emperor’s New Clothes? Since the cape’s faulty, let’s comment. Madonna’s wearing what appears to be a Jean Paul Gaultier velvet (?) dress with red fingerless gloves and a Dolce & Gabbana lace cape. Lace. Cape. Is that a thing now? And she wore gloves to cover her ‘roid veins because the ageing on her hands is worsening. That has to be why. I don’t know why else you’d go for such fruity accoutrements. Eight photos from the W.E. premiere.

Lindsay Lohan To Star In Budget Lifetime Movie

For some reason, people are all in a lather today about Deadline.com’s reporting of Lindsay Lohan being in talks to play Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie. She’s only in talks for one. She rarely gets out of that phase before being ditched for someone else or being demoted to a smaller part (see every role since Inferno). So, I was rather content to sit on this until confirmed but I’m shoehorning it in because her well-timed, although dated Philipp Plein ads are out today so I’m killing two crack rocks with one pipe. LaineyGossip.com points out, rightly, even if Lohan secures and keeps the part, it’s still a Lifetime movie; the same kind offered to the likes of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mischa Barton. After months of Lohan’s rep telling outlets, ‘She’s looking forward to lots of work in 2012. We plan to announce some great projects within the next months,’ THIS is her comeback? Okay, sure. But it’s brief, budget, and I agree it’s indicative that she can’t get anything better at the moment. As in, no one else will hire her.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Trailer

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the movie I’ve been avoiding reading and talking about since it doesn’t need to exist, has a trailer. The trailer’s being posted since I guess a bunch of you will like it but it looks cheap, boring, annoying and too slapstick for my taste. Well, it’s personal taste but I’ll let you all decide for yourselves. Did you like the trailer? Would you watch the movie?
