Transformers: Dark of the Moon has a trailer. Well, part of a trailer. Okay, it’s more of a teaser/ TV spot. But it does its job of reminding you that the film and Shia LaBeouf exist. I watched the below once so far, and may have missed Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. But she doesn’t seem to be in this. It’s Worried LaBeouf’s big brown eyes and lots of robots going BOOM. It’s mindless, pointless, but somewhat entertaining. So long as you don’t mind TV spots that don’t allude to character development/ story arc and the like. That’s what the full trailer’s for, so we’re going to have to wait to be reminded of who’s actually in this movie. This trailer comes only a day after Angry LaBeouf got arrested for a drunken bar fight, started when some douche screamed gay slurs at the actor and his friends.

Kristen Stewart Was Never Cast In Superman
Kristen Stewart was never approached to be part of the 2012 Superman reboot. Thankfully. Yeah, I said it. I don’t like or dislike, or feel any particular way, about the Twilight actress. However, I don’t really think her rumoured role of Lois Lane would have benefited from all that nail-biting and scowling at the camera. It had been reported that Stewart was set to be part of the movie’s franchise. Other reports claimed she’d secured the role of Lane. And, apparently, others still claimed she’d turned the role down. However, none of these reports were true. This is according to her spokesperson who clarifies she was never under consideration. I guess Lane’s going to have immaculate nails after all. ‘There are a number of fabricated stories circulating,’ says the rep. ‘The fact is that she has not met on this film nor has she been approached for this film.’
Vanity Fair’s 17th Annual Hollywood Issue Cover
The above is Vanity Fair’s 17th annual Hollywood issue. From the magazine’s website, I glean that they’re hoping to recover from last year’s mess of ‘Teenage/ 20-something White Girls Of Whom You May Have Heard’; that cover that garnered screams of ‘that’s racist’, and even louder yells of ‘that’s lazy’, after featuring only young White women for the second year in a row. The magazine claims they ‘Went back to the basics; no teenagers, no penguins, no [full] nudity, just the most exciting actors and actresses of the moment.’ This is one of those annoying fold-out covers. The front-facing part features an oddly-aged Anne Hathaway and her plunging neckline, Jakey Poo, James Franco, and Ryan Reynolds. I can’t even… Reynolds? Really? I quite like the guy, but ugh. There are others over the fold (shown here). Defamer mocks the cover, as a poor recovery from the last (seen here), with their post entitled, ‘Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue Takes a Stab at Diversity.’ They point out that there are ’1.5 African-Americans on the cover. That’s up from 0.25 African-Americans last year.’ This is referring to The Hurt Locker’s Anthony Mackie, and Rashida Jones whose father, Quincy Jones, is black and mother, Peggy Lipton, is Jewish. From left to right, the cover shows: Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Jennifer Lawrence, Anthony Mackie, Olivia Wilde, Jesse Eisenberg, Mila Kunis, Robert Duvall, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Rashida Jones, Garrett Hedlund and Noomi Rapace. There’s the full cover and the inside page in larger sizes in the gallery. See also a behind-the-scenes video.

James Franco Made and Watched Own Sex Tape
James Franco made a sex tape when he was 19-years-old. Oh good. He talks at alarming length about how funsies it is filming yourself having sex, but how hard it is to make oneself look good while in the act. Franco revealed, in a Newsweek-hosted roundtable with other likely Oscar nominees like Annette Bening and Nicole Kidman, that he was intrigued by the adult entertainment industry. ‘I think [as] anybody who has made a home sex tape knows, what feels best doesn’t always look best,’ the actor, 32, said. ‘I remember when I was 19 doing that, and then watching it back and thinking, oh, that looks horrible… You have a lot of respect for those actors in pornography, because they are really not just doing it, they’re really selling it.’ As I breathe into a paper bag still full of groceries, he continues, ‘You understand what it’s like to be intimate with someone, so you just kind of let yourself go over to that situation.’ He says of his own work, ‘I don’t know if I’ve ever had a great love scene that people would think, yeah, you really nailed that, so I don’t know if I’m the one to ask, but that’s what I do.’
Leighton Meester Screening for The Roommate
Leighton Meester, who doesn’t appear to pluck her eyebrows (something I never noticed) and The Roommate co-star Minka Kelly attended a screening for their Single White Female clone last night. The event took place at The Soho House in West Hollywood, California on January 23. Meester, who never really reconciled that whole sex tape thing that I guess we’re pretending never happened, wore black. The top half and belted detail being leather, the black dress really showed off the Gossip Girl actress’ slender figure. Kelly is wearing any clothes. Which is nice I guess. She’s wearing more than she did for her recent GQ Magazine shoot. She wears a white flowing dress with nude heels and a side braided ponytail.
Director Talks of Jennifer Aniston Topless Role
Director Judd Apatow talks about working with Jennifer Aniston on October’s comedy Wanderlust. According to reports from last year, Aniston may go topless, have a threesome, have orgies, and smoke marijuana, after she and onscreen husband Paul Rudd mistake a hippie commune for a bed and breakfast. She does not, however, from my loose Googling, seem to go full frontal naked for her role. This seems to be a path to a more mature image. However, not starring in another comedy would probably achieve the same end. Apatow praises Aniston, calling her ‘skilled’ and a joy to work with. Aniston, 41, was ‘just easy [to work with]‘, Apatow told Us at Saturday’s Producers Guild Awards in L.A. ‘That’s why people like her and like working with her so much.’ He adds, ‘She’s always been an incredibly, funny person. She really is what she appears to be. She is just a great person who really is skilled at what she does and is hilarious.’ Pictures show Aniston filming Wanderlust in the West Village, New York, November 19.
