I ignored yesterday’s quotes attributed to Aaron Carter. They just seemed so stupid, inflammatory and I couldn’t stand posting something there was obviously no way to verify. I’m glad I ignored the quotes now; because, as it turns out, they were a complete work of fiction by the vindictive minds of OK! Uhuh. The quotes were from the same people who weekly impregnate alternating Kardashian sisters, then Katie Holmes, then Jennifer Aniston, then back again, occasionally throwing in a reality star of whom you’ve never heard to throw off the mix. These same people are now being accused of fabricating quotes that label Jackson some kind of dealer (in the quotes floating around, he’s accused of giving cocaine and alcohol to a then-15-year-old Carter). Now 23, the quote related to a party at Neverland Carter attended with his older brother. ‘I was troubled about what [Michael] did to me… Yes, he gave me wine. I mean, I could have refused, but I was 15,’ Carter is alleged to have said. ‘He gave me cocaine. I felt weird about that and other stuff… We spoke afterwards, hours and hours, on the phone. I admired Michael, but his behavior bothered me a lot. Then my mother called the police…’ Well, the audio of Daphne Barak’s interview with Carter was posted online and at no point did he say any of that. Carter is yet to issue a statement.
