Megan Fox Doesn’t Really Hate Ugly Women

Despite poorly-translated comments to the contrary, Megan Fox does not hate ugly women enough that she’d trade with a preggo before she downgraded to sitting at the unpopular kids’ table. This week, an interview blew up from Jalouse Magazine April 2012. Which a bunch of you pointed out, when I initially published the original quote, had been poorly translated. I don’t like to edit quotes, ever, even for readability, but I tidied these a little because it was funny to picture Fox snorting while imagining what it would be like to be an uggo for the day. ‘Ha, it’s like they think they’re people.’ Well, Fox went on Facebook (the only social network she uses), to say the quotes were out of context even before being translated from English, to French, then back to English: ‘Before this starts to circulate and spin into something else I want to address a ‘quote’ that has started to run from an interview I did with a French magazine called Jalouse. The quote reads ‘i wouldn’t trade my place with an unattractive girl.’ Sigh. The actual comment, the context and it’s intention are grossly distorted and misrepresented here. I gave this interview in English obviously, it was then translated to French and now back into English. I’ve never made vapid self serving comments and in contradiction am uncontrollably self deprecating.’

Jennifer Lawrence Braless Rolling Stone Cover

Jennifer Lawrence is selling you The Hunger Games while wearing a white, sheer shirt and no bra because this franchise will end up earning billions and she’s contractually-obligated to show nip (I’m not imagining that, you can see through her shirt right?) Well, Lawrence appears to have most people sold. If you don’t account for the people annoyed a non-Native girl played Katniss (IDK), or the other racists distracted by the casting. Oh, and she was too blonde before she dyed her hair to stem the backlash. And she’s not literally starving, which concerned some purists who thought her too fat to play the lead in such a self-explanatory movie. For example, The Hollywod Reporter noted the 21-year-old’s ‘lingering baby fat.’ Salon noted she looked ‘well-fed’ and ‘too fat’ throughout. Variety said the starvation theme ‘barely even seems to register’ because of the cast’s looks. Hollywood Elsewhere called Lawrence a ‘fairly tall, big-boned lady,’ too big to act opposite Josh Hutcherson, 19, and shorter than Lawrence’s 5 foot 7 inches and Liam Hemsworth’s 6 foot 5 inches. Elsewhere adds Hemsworth, a ‘six-footer or thereabouts, has no problem on this score.’ Conversely, Hemsworth had to lose some weight although he wasn’t asked so much as given a trainer by producers. Stunned, he asked Thor actor brother Chris Hemsworth who concurred, noting it’s ‘called The Hunger Games, not The Eating Games.’

Excerpts below. Zoe Kravitz recalls Lawrence getting naked right after they met.

Victoria Beckham Harper’s Bazaar UK May 2012

Victoria Beckham covers Harper’s Bazaar UK a second time, although it’s matter of public record that she’s still not important enough for American Vogue. This is the May 2012 issue, for which the 37-year-old wears Prada’s Spring/Summer collection as shot by Deputy Editor Camilla Akrans (this is one of Akrans’ final shoots for the magazine, and her replacement openly dislikes Beckham and would probably never concede to another cover or the full creative control afforded Beckham for this issue). Very busy, but beautifully-styled and otherwise put together, this is probably why Beckham has been getting papped so much lately. Not just for her appearances for fashion week, but to keep her name out there for the Vogue profile and this cover. Her interview and shoot are below.

Kristin Cavallari Wants Another Kid Right Away

Although she’s still gestating the first, Kristin Cavallari says she immediately wants another baby for a total of four; all planned, the latter two of whom will probably come after her wedding. About which, judging by a new interview she gives in Glamoholic Magazine, fiance Jay Cutler is complicit because he wants to pay chirren support x4 and all that alimony once the future marriage goes south.

People & Us: Reese Witherspoon Is Pregnant

Somehow scooping People Magazine by hours, Us Weekly Magazine has the exclusive claiming that Reese Witherspoon is 12-weeks pregnant with her third child; her first with second-husband Jim Toth. I read this a few hours ago, then ignored it. Instead waiting for rep confirmation or at least a nod from People that THERE’S A BABY IN THAT THERE UTERUS. After which I was disappointed to find each outlet only had source claims and no word from the rep who denied the pregnancy to GossipCop.com only two-weeks ago (Gossip Cop has since reached out to the rep for further comment, but there’s no new statement at the time of writing). So, for now sources for People and Us Weekly say Witherspoon is pregnant and she has a baby bump. Us Weekly’s multiple sources claim: ’Reese is right around 12 weeks [although she is] not planning to announce it. Reese and Jim have been trying to get pregnant. The timing is right. She’s so happy [and she plans to take] time off.’ Observers of Witherspoon jogging earlier today tell the tabloid: ‘You could definitely see a small bump, which she covered-up with a loose fitting sweatshirt. [She] was in good spirits. Her baby bump is still small, but very noticeable, but she is in great shape the hike was not that easy!’ People has a thin report, with a source saying simply: ‘They are both thrilled.’

Freida Pinto Covers Nylon Magazine April 2012

Reduced to the sum of her parts, here’s Freida Pinto on the cover of Nylon April 2012 which I’ll take over the sex-kitten thing she’s doing under the cut in Esquire UK because IT BURNS seeing a girl this pretty being prodded into trying so hard.
