It’s almost as if the photographer asked her to stretch, just to make sure she wouldn’t pull anything, all the time reassuring her the red light means the camera battery is charging or something.

Fox thinks the readership of NY Times magazine consists of her 15-year-old fan-boys and 60-year-old gynecologists. Or perhaps she thought she was at the dentist and so opened wide, not realising she was exposing the wrong body part.

Demi Moore has been caught up in the world’s least scandalous scandal.

Everyone knows at this point, that as a matter of keeping house, all magazine covers get photoshopped. What everyone doesn’t know is that some photoshoppers are fingerless and have to photoshop using only their feet.

Well, at least that’s how Demi Moore’s new cover for W magazine looks and it’s sparked more bemusement than controversy. The actress was digitally altered to give her a smaller waist and a bigger bust, nothing weird there. Did I mention that one of her bothersome hips was photosopped into oblivion? I didn’t? Okay. A drunk ’shopper used their feet to erase one of Moore’s annoying hip bones.

Johnny Depp has been named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive 2009, along with several other dishy actors.

Johnny Depp has been named one of People’s top DILFs, in their annual list of guys’s they’d rather like to have sordid liaisons with. The actor’s reported to be getting on in years, but I don’t believe that. Don’t believe everything you read, this man hasn’t done anything I would call ageing in the last decade or so. He was hot and doable then, and People officially confirm this is still the case now.

Playboy is hedging its bets for its December 2009 issues.

Not content with one scantily-clad cover, Playboy went and created a second just to confuse the poor darlings who best consume their NSFW repast one meal at a time. Their average reader can probably not count that high, but Playboy has two covers for  their new issue. One stars Chelsea Lately star Chelsea Handler, the other swimsuit model/Dancing with the Stars contestant Joanna Krupa.

Some one’s going to end up feeling short-changed as Krupa gets her naked on, while Handler keeps her assets covered in a bikini. It’s a wonder that anyone buys this or views it online, but apparently they do and they do so on purpose. I’m left wondering which of the two my ADHD-laden readers may favour…

Levi Johnston was lie-telling about how much he bared for Playgirl. Despite reports, he didn’t pose full frontal.

Levi Johnston said to anyone who would listen, he loves nothing more than being ass-nekkied and letting his privates blow freely in the wind.

He spoke last month about how much fun it was being naked for free, and that he was crapping his pants with excitement at the prospect of being paid to get out his little Johnston. The baby-faced baby daddy to Sarah Palin’s grandson will be the face/ privates of an upcoming issue. The magazine is usually only available online, but according to TMZ TV, this issue will be on newsstands also.

People who will be viewing online or in print are going to be short changed. A spokesperson for Playgirl told Us magazine that Johnston did not go full frontal and essentially called his camp a bunch of lairs for suggesting as much.

Taylor Swift is the InStyle cover girl for December 2009.

Taylor Swift has enjoyed a great month so far, gaining an armful of nods at the Country Music Awards and managing to actually be funny on SNL. The 19-year-old is over-exposed like an MFer, but now is still the time for her to be getting some further attention, outside of her usual country crowd. Taylor Swift’s InStyle interview covers relationships, moving out of her parents’ house, starring in the upcoming romantic comedy Valentine’s Day.

• Taylor Swift on shooting scenes for Valentine’s Day with Taylor Lautner: “He and I have gotten really close. It would be confusing on the set with two Taylors in the same scene. They were like, ‘Taylor, on your mark—no, not you, the other one!’ So halfway through the shoot, I said, ‘How about you guys call me Swifty and call him Taylor?’”
• Being true to who she is: “I don’t ever feel misunderstood. And I don’t feel as if I need to make some giant statement and start wearing a completely different new wardrobe for the next project or start speaking in a different way or writing songs in a different way. When you start overthinking that stuff with your career, you stop being who you are and start being who you think you should be. And when you get into that space, that’s very dangerous territory. So I’m just going to continue to be who I am.”

Megan Fox did several things rather well in her New York Times magazine interview. The 23-year-old actress looked beautiful on the cover photo above, she spoke in full sentences to NYT writer Lynn Hirschberg without the aid of any kind of mind-altering substances, and she made a dig at Angelina Jolie so subtle it could take your breath away. Okay, it won’t so much take your breath away as make you want to hold your breath until she agrees to stop talking.

In the interview the star is reported to have called her fellow actress, serious and stoic. She maintained that comparisons to the saintly serial-adopter were the bane of her existence. As such, she lives and breathes to be the antithesis of what Jolie stands for. That’s as well as may be, but Three Films McGee doesn’t need to be making any further comments about a freakin’ Oscar winner.

• Lynn Hirschberg details at length how Megan has copied Angelina Jolie, and then Megan complains about the comparisons: Fox complains that the Jolie comparisons are now “the bane of my existence,” which is part of the reason she wanted to host S.N.L.. [...] Fox maintained that, unlike Jolie, she has a sense of humor and that her interviews are meant to be funny rather than provocative. “People compare me to Angelina Jolie, and she’s so serious and stoic,” Fox explained. “I’m the opposite. When I do interviews, I say things that I think are hysterical. But because we live in a world of sound bites, you’re not allowed to have a sense of humor. Sarcasm doesn’t translate in print at all. And neither does self-deprecating humor. I’m not a tigress like Angelina. Of course, people want me to be. But I want to be the contradiction of that.”
• Megan on the whole “Michael Bay is like Hitler” controversy, and the open letters from crew members that followed: “I got myself in this whole mess. But it doesn’t matter. I know that the things they said about me in the crew letter were not true, but Bay is not happy with some of the things I’ve said about him. I was waiting for someone to defend me, to say, ‘That’s not accurate,’ but nobody did. I think it’s because I’m a girl. They left me out there to be bludgeoned to death.”
• Megan on trying to appeal to women: “Women tear each other apart. Girls think I’m a sl-t, and I’ve been in the same relationship since I was 18. The problem is, if they think you’re attractive, you’re either stupid or a wh-re or a dumb wh-re. The instinct among girls is to attack the jugular.”

According to OK! magazine, Angelina Jolie may be planning to adopt without the aid of Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are solely responsible for the cute orphan shortage currently affecting the rest of Hollywood. Because of Pitt’s desire to have a soccer team entirely of his spawn, there are now precisely 75% less adorable babies on the open market for vultures like Madonna to come and snatch.

The saints and their cherubs already make for a picture perfect clan. However, a new set of allegations in the magazine claim that Pitt is not ready to appropriate any more kids as he’s too busy growing an unattractive forest on his chin. It’s alleged that Jolie is still baby-crazy and wants a little girl from Syria.

This decision is allegedly putting a strain on a relationship that, oddly, doesn’t appear to be sustained by sex alone.

As a side-note, once you push past all of the rumours and fun-sicles on the OK! November 23, 2009 cover, there is a sneaky picture of Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva’s newborn baby inset in the bottom left corner.

Ashley Greene was the reluctant star of one of about a hundred scandals this Summer. She was caught short in a series of naked photos, which she admitted she took herself. Given that most of fans have already seen nude photos of Ashley Greene shots of her smeared in cooking oil, or whatever that crap is that’s making her all shiny, are hardly a surprise to anyone.

Sarah Jessica Parker is the Elle magazine cover girl for the December 2009 issue.

Sarah Jessica Parker spent most of the early part of this year stowing a baby away in some innocent lady’s womb. Now done with that, and the mother to twins as well as her son, she is reprising a role the Sex and The City sequel.

Sex and The City 2 is going to stretch the imagination, either that or the scenes the women all filmed in 80s costumes will require more post-production work than previously thought humanly possible.

Tha actress spoke to the fashion magazine. She steered clear of speaking about stuffing babies anywhere unsanitary, and smoothed over any cast feuds.
