Pretend Preemptive Anger At Lady Gaga’s Judas

Lady Gaga’s song Judas leaked at the end of last week, four days early. I listened to it a few times, trying to decide whether I liked it. I liked it initially, now I’m on the fence. Most of the song’s production is pretty stellar; I like the introduction, the verses, and interlude, however, the chorus and bridge are weirdly-poppy in a way that almost belong in another track. Anyhow, because the track leaked a lot earlier than planned, Gaga had to release the song ahead of schedule. The below audio is from Gaga’s YouTube, where she’s got a link to the single on iTunes. She also spent the weekend tweeting pictures of artwork for the single and album; the album cover being revealed on normal printer paper, prompting some fans to think it some poorly-staged joke. Above is the Born This Way album cover, in all its Transformers glory. And there’s a Judas single cover.

Lady Gaga’s Vagina Hates Lady Gaga’s Fame

Lady Gaga covers the May 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar. With those annoying pointy wart things that make her look like a trendsetting leper. The cover was taken using Uncle Terry’s molester lens. Aside from some weird image where Gaga’s wearing a Total Recall dress where she’s got a bunch of tits where only two tits should be, and where she’s wearing knives as heels, which has nothing to do with Richardson, it’s a good shoot. The remaining photos are below. As is her interview with the magazine. An interview in which she says the prosthetics are bones; protruding from underneath her own skin. And there’s a metaphor about her vagina hating fame and clenching at the thought of her turning into Paris Hilton, or whomever. I wish I were paraphrasing more than I really am.

Lady Gaga Wears Make-Up To Bed Every Night

Lady Gaga says she sleeps in her make-up every night and her hair’s falling out from processing. Speaking to People about her lack of beauty regime, she’s asked how many nights per week she sleeps in the inch-thick make-up she wears on stage and for photo shoots. ‘Seven,’ she replies. ‘That is not good for your skin, but I’m blessed with good genes.’ She’s blessed with being 24-years-old, there’s no way she’s going to be able to get away with that even 10 years from now. That’s kind of gross, as much make-up as she wears some days. I guess she puts further make-up on top of the previous day’s or eventually washes that off and puts on another ‘coat.’ Weirdly, she then claims she’s worried about the state of her skin, carrying around sunblock in her bag. ‘I don’t like to tan my face because it’s bad for wrinkles,’ she explains. She adds that she has the same problem as a couple of celebrities, Britney Spears and Naomi Campbell’s names come to mind, whose hair is falling out. Gaga adds, she misses her dark hair when she has to ‘get a chemical haircut because my blonde hair is falling out.’

Lady Gaga Covers i-D Magazine’s Spring Issue

Lady Gaga’s newly-deformed face covers the Spring issue of i-D, the appropriately-named ‘Exhibitionist Issue’ for which the singer is braless. My literal first thought upon finding this cover by accident was ‘Oh no, not her again.’ I’m not even throwing shade, I was just like, ‘I’m so over seeing her and those stupid face bump things… can we not?’ That said, I thought the remaining three people on this site not exhausted at the mere sight of the singer may enjoy seeing a cover that wouldn’t usually get posted here. Gaga’s make-up’s actually pretty fun and in keeping with the rest of the styling. However, the wink doesn’t look like one. It’s weird… it’s like there’s an eyelash in her eye or something.

Lady Gaga Born This Way Music Video Premiere

Lady Gaga’s Born This Way music video has been released online and you can watch it below. Well, the first of the two videos is below. There’s a second you’re going to have to Google Search or whatever as it’s available on iTunes for download and features a different mix of the record. The second video uses some ballad version of the same song. I usually post these and then watch them, and today’s no different. I don’t have time to watch this seven-minute music video and then write some essay on whether I like it. I’ve skimmed enough of the beginning to establish a few things though: 1) I’m still not crazy about it 2) I’m still just going to listen to Express Yourself, rather than this, if ever I get the urge 3) the video was never going to live up to the hype. I barely got past the weird spoken word thing at the beginning. I admit, the minutes-long intro was enough to put me off. Hint: the actual video/ song part doesn’t start until around 2:40. You’re missing little if you skip the acid trip and Vogue interludes.

Lady Gaga Born This Way Will Have Two Videos

Lady Gaga will be releasing two music videos for Born This Way. This isn’t something posted to her own Twitter, but that of a respected fansite Gaga’s known to have posted to at least once (I think she posted in some kind of forum/ shoutbox, if I recall correctly). The above is probably correct, so I’m not going to argue it. Expect two music videos upon the release that I believe to be on Monday 11 a.m. ET. The first version of the video will be released in the usual manner, I guess to her YouTube/ VEVO. The second will be released to iTunes later. A second, more sparing, version of the song will be used in the second video and available for purchase. Money raised from downloads will go to charity.
