Last week, we saw Lady Gaga’s bowl cut debut the official preview of the Alejandro music video. Today, after weeks of rumours about when the stupid thing was going to be released, it has had its premiere on VEVO.com/ YouTube.com. This is another stretched promo, at a whopping 8:43 minutes long. I’m yet to watch this, as I’ve still not gotten over the bowl cut or the eyebrows (not to mention the song isn’t my cup of tea). See below, plus 12 stills.
Lady Gaga Alejandro music video official premiere released today in full. Finally.
Lady Gaga was a guest on Larry King Live,last night. While on the CNN news show, as promised, she revealed a look at her eagerly awaited music video for Alejandro (eagerly awaited in so far as there were rumours the full video would be released May 25, and it’s still not out). At the same time, Gaga released the promo on her VEVO.com YouTube page. The promo is black and white and shows a be-suited Gaga wearing a blonde bowl cut wig. I can’t really tell what’s going on, other than to say Gaga is being chased by men half-naked but for some S&M headgear. I have to say I don’t like this video. Not one bit. Watch it below…
Christina Aguileradid kill and eat Lady Gaga. You all thought I was joking about that, right? I wasn’t. Like a couture-clad version of the alien from The Thing, Aguilera fully digested and morphed into our dear departed Gaga. It’s a shame too, as I liked Gaga. You best examine the pictures inside the Bionic booklet carefully; as with the movie, there’s little-to-no giveaway that this is imitation.
Lady Gaga new French interview… the penis rumour talk starts @ 7 minutes in.
This will come as no surprise to those who’ve been following her interviews… but Lady Gaga says she loves those penis rumours. In a new interview with a French television programme, Gaga says that she loves penis rumours and the gays.
“I love the rumor that I have a penis. I’m fascinated by it. It makes me love my fans even more that this rumor is in the world because 17,000 of them come to an arena every night and they don’t care if i’m a man, a woman, a hermaphrodite, gay, straight, transgendered, or transsexual… They are there for the music and the freedom. This has been the greatest accomplishment of my life; to get young people to throw away what society has taught them is wrong. Gay culture is at the very essence of who I am and I will fight for women and for the gay community until I die.”
Christina Aguilera is the cover girl for Out magazine’s June 2010 issue. Cover Awards points out that Aguilera looks like she just ate and half-digested Lady Gaga (they didn’t phrase it like that… but, whatever). This is one of those grainy first look deals. This is the sneak peek you’re going to have to make do with until the June 2010 issue and all of its photos are released, for real, in all their high quality glossy glory. Depending on how much of Gaga has been digested by that time I may well post the rest of the spread, and a better quality cover, later.

Greyson Chance sings Paparazzi by Lady Gaga in a YouTube video that went viral.
Colour me shocked and bemused. This was bound to happen. It was also bound to be annoying. As you may recall last week just about everyone who wasn’t me was jumping around with excitement at a video featuring Greyson Chance, a 12-year-old whose YouTube rendition of Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi went viral. I mention it was everyone but me; I knew about this video, as I know about most of the asinine non-events online, but I chose to ignore it. I’m going to put out there that I don’t really care about this kid. He seems cute, sure. He seems somewhat talented from the 5 seconds of his video I watched, yeah. But I just don’t care. I feel like I’m watching part of the reason the over-eager, itchy-trigger-fingered record industry is going down the toilet. Signing every pre-tween whose video gets posted to YouTube? A video goes viral and that’s enough to get on shows like Ellen, really? Okay, sure. I’m not mad at anyone, but enough already. Consider me over scraping YouTube’s gutters for talent (insert neckroll).
Greyson Chance, the sixth-grader who [performed] Lady GaGa’s Paparazzi, has already signed a deal with Interscope, meaning he and GaGa are now label-mates. One week ago, he was unknown. [Jezebel]
It should be noted this is awaiting confirmation, however this rings true…
Greyson Chance is the latest YouTube phenomenon to score a record deal. At just 12-years-old! The big-voiced sixth grader, who has attracted nearly 14 million views on YouTube with his rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi,” has reportedly signed with Interscope Records but no confirmation from the label has been made. (Greyson has taken piano lessons for three years but has never taken voice lessons.) CrazedHits reports that “Interscope [chairman] Jimmy Iovine closed the deal before any other label could even step in and meet the kid.” [Just Jared]
