Britney Spears Not Yet Confirmed for Grammys

It’s not 100% whether Britney Spears will perform at the Grammys. The singer did just release a new single, Hold It Against Me, and she’s clearly preparing for an album too. So, perhaps that’s where the lazy rumour-mongering began. But reports, from one blogger in particular, that Spears ‘will be performing in L.A. at the 2011 Grammys on Feb. 13,’ are unfounded. ‘We have not confirmed a performance at the Grammys at this time,’ reads a statement from the singer’s spokesperson. Which is clearly not a ‘No, it’s not happening,’ but then it wouldn’t be, would it. She may or may not perform, but yesterday’s rumours are just that. Indecency Complaints Filed Over the Grammys

With the copious shots of Lady GaGa’s barely covered vagina, this was bound to happen sooner or later. The good viewers of middle-America have come together at their annual meeting to decide that they don’t like the sight of vagina. More specifically Lady GaGa’s vagina, without much in the way of material to cover it, when she was at the Grammys and performed with Elton John. Furthermore, they don’t like crotch-grabbing. Specifically, they don’t like the sight of Beyonce grabbing her crotch. Weirdos. I’m popping some popcorn in the microwave before I set about reading the hilarity I found over at TheSmokingGun.com. If the Adam Lambert gay kiss complaints were anything to go by, these are going to be a steaming pile of vagina-hating hilarity. There are approx. 10 pages of complaints, starting with one that whined about her kiddies seeing GaGa’s GaGa a.k.a. “frontal crotch area” (as opposed to the back crotch area?). Oh, another point, the woman on page one seems to not know how to use her remote. She paid for CBS, so she was determined to leave it on and get her money’s worth.

Lady GaGa Shows Off Little Monsters Tattoo

Lady GaGa loves her fans, whom she talks to on Twitter calling them her Little Monsters. She showed her appreciation for their support, and joy over her Grammy wins this weekend, by getting a celebratory tattoo. The Grammy-winning singer shared a tweet in which she said she got the ink done on Monday night. Her homage to her Little Monsters is shown above, click for a larger view.

Taylor Swift Dropping, Breaking Grammy: Video

I saw the photos yesterday of Taylor Swift dropping and breaking the Grammy Award she stole from Lady GaGa. I kid. The one she stole was secreted somewhere on her person; somewhere funny, that’ll require a surgeon’s skill if she ever wants it removed. The multi-award winning singer spent most of yesterday being flat out clowned because she dropped and snapped in half one of her gongs. I always find video helps to illuminate, and so having found the below thought I’d share. See video of Taylor Swift’s dreams falling and clanging on the ground as she drops and breaks one of her four Grammy awards.

The Grammy Awards were rather uneventful. No one got arrested (that I know of), no one got crunk and crazy stealing anyone else’s moment onstage, and no one effed up too badly. There was little to report except samey performances and fashion misses. So, before I retire to my hovel, all you’re getting from me is a half-assed commentary on both. Be sure to check out the Pre-Grammy pAArty, Grammy red carpet arrivals, the Jackson kids accepting their father’s award, Pink and Beyonce performing, and Lady GaGa and Elton John’s duet.

Lady GaGa Elton John Grammys Video & Photos

Lady GaGa and Elton John performed together at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. The musical pair opened the night’s decidedly dull events. The best part of the night was presumably the two having a Magic Marker fight before the cameras were turned on. That was something I would have willingly sat through for three hours. The pair performed together at a piano that looked like it was about to duplicate with a split down the middle, forming two little pianos.

I was less awed of their collective performance than I was of GaGa’s insistence on using this night to prove, once-and-for-all, that she has a vagina. She chose to do so, as seen in the bottom of the three photos, by cutting off the circulation to her vaj with that super-tight outfit. Not sure how cutting off its blood supply would help. Oh well, at least the poor thing’s getting some air.

Watch the video of Lady GaGa and Elton John’s Grammy performance where they sang a mix of Your Song and Speechless, photos onstage and off included.
