Heidi Klum walked the red carpet at the 2011 Grammy Awards. The turn out wasn’t as good as I was expecting this year. The usual people showed up. However, all the random/ lost actors I was expecting to attend so I could heckle them for having no reason to be there were in attendance of the BAFTAs. So, we’re left with actual musicians, people who’re married to musicians, like Heidi Klum is to Seal, the people from Jersey Shore (I refuse to call them the ‘Kids of Jersey Shore’ when they’re 30/ approaching 30), and Kim Kardashian who had no real reason to be there at all. Pictures below show the couple as they walked the red carpet together at the Sunday February 13 awards held in Los Angeles, CA.

I’ve already posted pictures of Lady Gaga arriving on the red carpet at this weekend’s Grammy Awards. You’d not have even known she’d arrived unless she was held captive inside one of the dinosaur eggs from Jurassic Park and the girlfriend of singer Adam Levine was escorting her. Yes, she arrived inside an egg and that’s all people have pictures of.  She was ‘resting’, or some crap, until this performance. Which is kind of stupid as no one gets to see what she’s wearing. I actually think that’s the first time someone deliberately hid their outfit from photographers on the red carpet. It would have been better if she’d been carried, like she was, and then hatched on the red carpet or something. Anyhow, this is what she was resting for… her performance of Born This Way.

Christina Aguilera performs and falls during the 53rd annual Grammy Awards.

Christina Aguilera performed at the Grammy Awards along with Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Florence Welch and Yolanda Adams with the singers paying tribute to Aretha Franklin’s classics. The performance began with a group rendition of Natural Woman, then went into Ain’t No Way, Until You Come Back to Me, Think, Respect and Spirit in the Dark. They closed with Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves. The tribute itself, along with Aguilera’s contribution, went down well. However, Aguilera fell during the performance (the snippet shows the fall).

Selma Blair had time between eating pieces of chalk to attend the 53rd annual Grammy Awards. Blair’s baby bump wasn’t showing anything like this much the last time I paid attention. A slightly baggy shirt was all it took to cover her entirely and so she didn’t even look pregnant. Okay, my slightly lazy Googling tells me she has a reason to be there. The 38-year-old actress was nominated for, but didn’t win, Best Spoken Word Album for Children for the audio book ‘Anne Frank: The Diary Of A Young Girl The Definitive Edition’. That ‘splains it.

Kelly Osbourne Grammy Awards 2011 Pictures

Kelly Osbourne attended this weekend’s Grammy Awards. As did a bunch of people only loosely associated with the music industry. It was more of a ‘Look at me’ red carpet. Or, in the case of Osbourne, ‘Look how wicked thin I am.’ The 53rd annual Grammy Awards took place on Sunday and had roughly a two hour red carpet before the ceremony began to air with a slight delay (so far as I know). Osbourne was another of the early arrivals. As was Lady Gaga who turned up in an egg and incubated until she would perform. Yes, really. Osbourne used the red carpet as another chance to show off her slim figure in a ‘sample size’ Tadashi Shoji dress. She also wore Forevermark jewellery and Alexander McQueen shoes.

Lady Gaga Grammy Awards Egg Arrival Pictures

Pictures of Lady Gaga being carried down the red carpet at the Grammy Awards are shown below. The 24-year-old singer was one of the early attendees to be photographed on the red carpet at this weekend’s awards. The 53rd annual Grammy Awards were held at The Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday February 13. I had to look twice, when I read that Gaga was arriving in a giant egg for the ceremony and would be carried down the Grammys red carpet past other celebrities. Apparently, she’s not arbitrarily shielding herself so she can feverishly sew her own costumes in private/ boost other late 80 or early 90s music from other people and pass it off as her own. She is ‘incubating’ and will not be ‘born’ until her performance tonight.  There are some additional pictures below of Gaga being carried by paid helpers who I assume still hate their lives. The helpers are dressed in nude colours and have horns, like on Gaga’s Born This Way single cover (a cover accused of ripping off a 2007 Kylie Minogue single’s artwork). The egg meant, aside from visible glasses, you couldn’t tell what Gaga was wearing. Gaga is nominated for six awards, including Album of the Year, Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for Telephone and also Best Dance Recording.
