Michelle Obama, the First Lady with style and class, covers Glamour magazine for December 2009.

The December 2009 Glamour is the magazine’s annual Women of the Year issue.

This issue is dedicated to women who have done something positive, or have influenced young women in the past year in a positive way. Her fashion, her status as a role-model, and a positive African-American matriarch figure, is matched by her intellect and role as the first ever African-American First Lady.

Michelle Obama is the first wife of a President to grace the magazine’s cover, in its 70-year history. And it’s something well-deserved. As the magazine points out, you can’t talk about the women of 2009 without also discussing Obama.

Taylor Swift Does a Retro Photoshoot in London

Taylor Swift did a retro-style photoshoot in London’s trendy Notting Hill area, earlier in the week. The 19-year-old singer wore a striking scarlet dress with a matching colour lip stain and nails. She also wore a floral, beaded headband reminiscent of those worn by flapper girls.

She was seen snacking on cupcakes and drinking out of the cool old-school glass coke bottles. This style of dress is outside of the usual styling for the country music star, and is more the kind of look one would expect from someone like Katy Perry or Lily Allen. But, she pulls this off well. Actually, she wears the look very well indeed.

Solange Knowles New Shaved Haircut

Solange Knowles has a new haircut and showcased it earlier today. She took the “haircutting” a little too seriously and actually took the whole lot off. But it’s a fresh new look and it’s hard to be mad at her. Solo Orange still looks cute without any locks and I bet not having to deal with that lace front weave mess feels great. There are conflicting reports of when she got this done, as she could have been hiding a shaved head under her weave for some time. Orange must need some media love today, as she has chosen now to show her cropped head off.

Hayden Panettiere covered and gave an interview with Details for their August 2009 issue. The 19-year-old opens up about her paparazzi paranoia, having a high profile personal life and getting beat up in middle school.

On being different: “It wasn’t like I suddenly started feeling different. I always knew that I was. I never felt I missed out – in fact, it was like, ‘Oh, thank God I’m not that.”
On being bullied in junior high school: “I was tortured, emotionally tortured by these girls. Every time I came back from filming, it would be me trying to find my way back into the clique. And they weren’t having it.”
On her failed romance with pedo bear (Milo Ventimiglia): “When it comes to relationships, it’s nice to have something that is your own and not everyone else’s. That’s not part of my job. I never stood up on a podium and said, ‘Vote for me – I’m perfect. I’ll be this for you and never do anything wrong.’”
On her father’s arrest: “It’s turned my life upside down and shaken it,” Hayden stated frankly. “It was very tough, especially since it’s my family. It’s one thing if you do it to me. I get frustrated, but I can handle it. But when it involves my family, my friends, forget it—I lose my… I learned the game. The more I react, the angrier I get, the more satisfaction they get. That’s exactly what they want.”

The star’s new comedy, I Love You, Beth Cooper, is in theaters today (July 10).

Lady Gaga was spotted out wearing a hair covered hat in the shape of a large button in Whalley Range, Manchester, UK.

This hat is right on that terrifying line, between the horrors that will haunt your dreams at night and brilliance. I’d rock that bish and look as clownish as Parasite did when she tried to rock this chica’s hair bow. As well as the hat, gotta give some fashion props where they are due – the backless black suit is fierce, as are the glasses she is wearing. 7 out of 10.

Madonna can be seen here in a set of Louis Vuitton adverts, as shot by Steven Meisel.

The singer has taken a break from snatching adorable babies in third-world countries, to star in a new Louis Vuitton (LV) campaign. Her initial advert actually came out last week, but it has taken this entire time for me to realise that the photoshopped mannequin in the pics was the Vadge (also for the rest of the pics to leak).

Mariah’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel Cover

Mariah Carey today released the album cover for her new record, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, the artwork can be seen above.

The singer used her official Twitter to explain why there were three images of her on the cover: “The reason I chose to use 3 images for the cover is cos there are a lot of different emotions and stories revealed on this album.”

I saw this piece of airbrushed wonder earlier today, but forgot to post it about three times because of all the sad news going on today. Man. Talking about MooMoo’s under-arm udders is nothing like as fulfilling when you have other things on your mind.

I would totally have gone into one and admitted that girl looks fire hot, but the photoshop chichis are outta control. But now, I think I’ll just leave it by saying the dungeon b*tches must now have worked their fingers to the bone and deserve to be let out. Also, for their services to MooMoo they should get a lifetime achievement award. This is firstclass workmanship and the singer should let her little workers out and into the wild. There’s plenty more tatas to photoshop and so little time. Run and take your photoshop software with you. Run!
