Eva Mendes Covers Marie Claire March 2012

Eva Mendes covers Marie Claire March 2012 of which this is a preview (hence, no interview). I WTF-ed at this cover since it’s so horrible. It’s just unflattering. I hate the big hair. I hate how much they messed with her face. I hate the sloppy Photoshop on both arms. The whole cover’s jacked. Mendes is too pretty for this.

Eva Mendes And Ryan Gosling’s Disneyland Date

Because finding someone out of arms reach to have sex with is, like, WAY hard, A Place Beyond The Pines co-stars Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are dating. Yes, they’re playing a couple onscreen and they’re touching bumps after the director yells ‘CUT!’ It would appear Lainey Gossip scooped Us Weekly on this one. Back in mid-August there was a report speculating that Mendes and Gosling were a couple. And today there are more reports of their time together. They went on a date to Disneyland this weekend. Which is Gosling’s reported boilerplate date where he takes every woman with whom he sleeps. Lainey adds today that ‘They were there together on Saturday. He had his hand on the small of her back whenever they’d be entering a gate and at one point she had her hand lightly on his ass while they were waiting for a pick up. Am told by several people who saw them that they seemed very comfortable together. And that he would lean over frequently and say s**t to her, like super close-talking in her ear, in a way that implied there was some intimacy between them… am told they left in the same ride.’ Us Weekly’s sources basically say the same, ‘They were very playful. Eva was skipping around like a little girl… She would lean into him and she held his arm the entire time. She fed him [churros, cotton candy and corn on the cob].’ Adds another Us source, ‘There’s always been this strong chemistry between them…this was just a matter of time! It hasn’t been a secret how excited Eva’s been to film with him, and she’s always joked with us about how gorgeous he is.’

Eva Mendes Got January Jones’ Sloppy Seconds

The sloppy seconds of January Jones will now be touching Eva Mendes’ bumps with the lights on. It’s being rumoured that Jason Sudeikis went on a date with Eva Mendes. Because it gives me an excuse to post more pictures of her, I’m going to indulge this rumour. There’s no other reason. I’m not kidding. According to Page Six, the two are dating and they had dinner with Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, at L’Artusi in the West Village Friday night. Reps have yet to confirm or deny, but sources are claiming that ‘Eva and Jason went out for a smoke break, and he told her, ‘We make a great team.” The rumoured couple were also reportedly seen kissing in a car at the 24 Hour Plays benefit in Santa Monica last week and leaving the event hand-in-hand. Photos show Mendes wearing grandma’s sixth-fanciest tablecloth to a fashion event in NYC, Tuesday.

Eva Mendes Is Tired Of Always Being So Sexy

Eva Mendes is tired of existing only for your faps. She’s a person. With exceptional lips and dirty pillows. And perfect skin and hair. And a beauty mark. She’s a HUMAN BEING *flicks hair over shoulder* not a piece of meat *sticks out chest*. Mendes has admitted that being called ‘sexy’ all the time gets old because it’s shallow compliment. Responding to comments made by a perfume industry executive that their campaign had been well-received because Mendes’ sexuality was ‘not threatening,’ Mendes said she’d rather be called ‘cute.’

‘I actually prefer to be Team Cute. Can I switch? Cute is way better,’ Eva Mendes, 37, said of her marketable sexuality, at an event for Angel by Thierry Mugler. ‘I’d rather be on Team Cute, because I think it’s harder to be cute than sexy. You know what it’s like. Every time someone pays you that compliment of being cute or adorable, that feels like a real compliment. Being hot is all smoke and mirrors at some point. I think it takes more personality to be cute, so that’s a deeper compliment.’

You’re Going To Need To Squint At These Too

I just found these photos too and so I wanted to make it Dirty Pillows Monday ™. This day exists, to be clear, for no other reason than breasts demand their own posts. Penis rarely gets its own post. Dirty pillows, covered with nothing more than grandma’s fanciest tablecloth, need to be addressed in their own post. Deal with it. So, here’s Eva Mendes, who’s wearing what I actually think is the second-fanciest tablecloth with some kind of waistcoat/ vest thing sewn into it. When I first found these photos, I thought that was her bra and laundry day panties showing under her outfit. I dunno. Possible peek of laundry day panties below.

Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Photos & Winners

Everyone who could spare the time between tokes attended the 16th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards 2011. These awards aren’t really on my radar, as I actively try to ignore anything outside of the Academy Awards, The Golden Globes, The Emmys, The Grammy Awards and the MTV Movie Awards/ VMAs.

I pretty much don’t pay attention unless the awards matter/ there’s a flawless red carpet. This red carpet ticked some boxes and enough interesting people attended to fit the bill. Only just. The 2011 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards were held on Friday January 14 (who in the heck holds awards on a Friday?) at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA. People on the red carpet included the following, in order; Natalie Portman, again drowning her baby bump in material; Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian… I don’t know why; Michelle Williams; Eva Mendes, who ruined your fun by wearing a bra; Ryan Gosling; Sofia Vergara; Mila Kunis; Quentin Tarantino; Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman; Tilda Swinton; Jeff Bridges; Amy Adams; Helena Bonham Carter; Emily Blunt; Mandy Moore; Colin Firth; Jon Hamm; Jonah Hill; Jeremy Renner; Julianne Moore; Maroon 5; Andrew Garfield.
