Lady GaGa is getting really rather good at this attention-seeking lark.

If she’s not flashing her bare ass in the London cold, she’s posing in nothing but popo tape and sharing that picture on Twitter. I should imagine that a healthy smattering of GaGa’s fans are not actually old enough to be gainfully employed. So, I guess it doesn’t matter that this picture is barely suitable for work. That’s how that works, right? Otherwise it would just be weird that the teaser image suggests we’ll be treated to more shots of GaGa’s oh-so womanly vagina.

The pic is further promo for single Telephone, rumoured for a March 8 release.

Courtney Love Fails to get Her Twitter Verified

Courtney Love is trying to achieve Verified status for her Twitter account.

Her account, @CourtneyLoveUK, is used mainly to tweet punctuation-free brain vomit. Reading through her tweets is difficult as she just seems to tweet crap to random people, reply to everyone who contacts her (which is nice, I guess), and share re-tweets from sycophants and fans. Thankfully Gawker took the time to capture the images above, before these tweets were also buried under more madness. She doesn’t seem to understand the protocol for applying to become Verified; a process made simple, and explained in plain English by Twitter themselves. She turned to her followers for advice and they had some fun yanking her chain. With fake advice from people with no real affiliation with Twitter, like @CertifiedCelebs, Love is still un-Verified… for the time being.

Serena Williams Blasts British Airways’ Service

Serena Williams is angry-tweeting. For someone of her fitness and strength, I should imagine that involves tweeting using her fists and at the end of each session smashing her Blackberry against a wall. Either that or delicately laying the device on the floor and then smashing the heck out of it with a tennis racket.

The famous tennis star was being uncharacteristically passive-aggressive on Twitter, a moment ago. Williams has been writing messages on her @SerenaJWilliams account over the last few days, about flying to a school opening in Kenya, Africa. Her latest message bemoans the customer service of British Airways, an airline I guess she’s taking during her extensive travels. She complains and says she may never fly them again, calling their service terrible.

Travis Barker Gets in a Fight with the Paparazzi

Travis Barker got into a fight with the paparazzi. His rep could not be reached when asked for a comment, but Barker confirmed the incident on his Twitter.

The first incident with a pap happened on Barker’s way into a restaurant in Calabasas (neither of the two paps in the video below are that guy, the video was shot on the way out). The agency involved claimed they did not provoke him. The police were called. The popo confirmed being called to the location, but did not confirm Barker’s involvement. The paps didn’t want to press charge. No arrests were made, but a vandalism report was taken. TMZ has a video of Barker and his friends threatening paparazzi; they were allegedly spitting at the photographers, hitting a camera, allegedly slashing a pap’s tires, and one pap says his phone was stolen. Jessica Simpson Would Also Like Some Attention

Attention-seeking is like breathing in and out, for these celebrities. Especially the ones with a Twitter account; those who are only ever a click away from exposing themselves in all kinds of hilarious ways. Jessica Simpson would be one of those people. Rather than hack the account of her sibling for trifles and giggles, as did Khloe Kardashian (on more than one occasion), Simpson has taken to sharing ridiculous TwitPics of herself. The former singer has a heck of a lot of time on her hands. She shared with fans on Twitter this little gem of her wearing (and badly promoting) a La Mer upper and lower zone radiant mask.

Joel Madden: We’ve Been Engaged For a While

Joel Madden is laughing in the faces of all of us who were drunkenly laying in the gutter, and were “late” picking up on his engagement news. In a rather smug, and uncharacteristically rude tweet the rocker let fans know that he and his fiance were not newly engaged. I guess he means lazy reporting and assumptions about them getting engaged on Valentine’s Day were wrong. He says in the message above that he semi-appreciates the hoopla, but he urgently needs to get off Twitter so he can extract his head from his butt. That tweet was from his Twitter, but later deleted. Hence the capture from his feed on Celebrity Tweet.

John Mayer Says Sorry for Using Racial Slur

I was going to avoid posting about this as I avoid most matters to do with race, as it has the nasty habit of drawing out the racists. But I did want to post some follow up to the main link on today’s link post and give a little follow up on the whole John Mayer racial slur scandal. In a new interview with Playboy magazine, of which the more tame parts I posted about, John Mayer wandered into murky territory. He did two things. One, was talking about his race-based dating habits (which, frankly no one gives a shit about). Two, he used the N-word during the interview for no other reason than he got too damn comfortable in that moment.

I just wanted to provide the links to the interview (see second response in the quoted section), and then give some context to the commentary going on with urban blogs. He did use the N-word for no intelligible reason that I can fathom. He then got a bunch of angry messages on Twitter letting him know that was not cool. He has been, to his credit, very quick to say sorry for being a douche. And, should anyone be curious, no-I don’t think he’s racist. But that is a very, very dangerous and racially-charged word and he/ others have no business using it.

Lady GaGa is always emotional when it comes to her Little Monsters or Haus of GaGa members. The singer recently shared a photo of a tattoo she got, to honour her fans, after her wins at the Grammys. Now, she has shared another photo from one of the moments in which she learnt of her Grammy wins. She can be seen backstage, make-up done, and hair preened, and in floods of tears. This photo’s sweet, she reps hard for her fans. I have no idea where her Haus is, but I wanna pack up my Bacon Lube, Jelly Babies, and church panties and move there.

Tila Tequila Back on Twitter with New Account

Anyone who put money on Twitter-addicted Tila Tequila staying off Twitter for more than a few days, has lost their Monopoly money. Also, some of you bishes prolly owe me a buck fiddy. Where perhaps a drunken one or two of you thought Tequila may be able to live without being on Twitter after deleting her account on February 1, seems you were wrong (I say this out of a worried concern, but perhaps you should focus on your alcohol-dependency and stay out of grown-folks business… I keed, I keed). As of about seven hours ago, assuming that my research bought up the correct account, Tila Tequila is back on Twitter under a new name @TheRealTila. The former account @OfficialTila is still deleted. This new account has been sending out messages with the ferocity of the old, and has the same wallpaper and circle of friends I recognise from the old account.

Tila Tequila first tweet from @TheRealTila account: Dang… I guess I’m back! LOL Yes this is the real me dumbass….Look at my profile name! LOL
The second message (following soon after, seven hours ago): Whoa Twitter world feels so strange without all my followers. LOL HELLOOOOO! Is anyone here??? *Echoes*
Message asking that fans keep her page secret: Dont tell anyone I made a secret page ok?? Get the media & haters away from me! They like leeches!

The account was the subject of a post on Radar Online. Tequila’s second message laments tweeting without her usual gaggle of followers, so it’s no surprise her bedfellows were so quick to write a story about her new account and tip everyone off. Seeming surprised, her newest tweet asks how bloggers knew about her account already; she makes no mention of its media coverage.

For some reason she’s already tweeting about deleting the @TheRealTila page. Guess it’s getting her a bunch of unwanted attention and hate-mail, already.

Lady GaGa Shows Off Little Monsters Tattoo

Lady GaGa loves her fans, whom she talks to on Twitter calling them her Little Monsters. She showed her appreciation for their support, and joy over her Grammy wins this weekend, by getting a celebratory tattoo. The Grammy-winning singer shared a tweet in which she said she got the ink done on Monday night. Her homage to her Little Monsters is shown above, click for a larger view.
