Halle Berry & Olivier Martinez Get Breakfast

Here’s Halle Berry with her kid and the guy who didn’t knock her up, since there are no legal shenanigans ruining her day. Oh, that. According to reports, ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry conceded following allegations that he pushed a nanny while she was holding his daughter. Following a meeting on Friday, Aubry has agreed to take anger management classes about which law enforcement sources told the New York Daily News ‘he has a little bit of a temper, but the good news is that he realizes it.’ The couple will be in court Monday to discuss custody.

Armie Hammer Mug Shot From Marijuana Arrest

I keep staring at his chest hair. Since we’re just learning about his November 20 arrest for weed possession, I guess I’m belatedly posting Armie Hammer’s mug shot. This is the world’s best-groomed and most-cheerful mug shot, taken during prossessing as Hammer spent the day in jail because drug-sniffing dogs caught him with a minuscule amount of weed. He won’t be prosecuted. But it’s got to suck this news is released days before he attends the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012 for which he’s nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in J. Edgar.

Toddlers & Tiaras Mom Should Sue Herself Too

A Toddlers & Tiaras mother is suing several websites for ‘sexualising’ her kid. Displaying impressive cognitive dissonance, Susanna Barrett, mother of Isabella Barrett, 5, is suing websites including TMZ.com, The Daily Mail, The Huffington Post for ‘brazenly attempt[ing] to sexualize’ the child with commentary about her singing LMFAO’s I’m Sexy and I Know It in a New York City club in the middle of the night. Somehow not naming herself for sexualising the child, nor for child abuse, the mother claims the posts ‘have thrust…false and vulgar characteristics on to Isabella [and as] a result, Isabella is now perceived sexually, erotically and pornographically.’ Somehow, the loss of a spin-off reality show and jewellery line amount to the $30 million she’s suing for. Here’s video, if you can stomach it.

Kardashians Play Dumb In Sweatshop Scandal

There’s a lot to this, but I’m Cliffs Noting it since I’d need about six posts to go into more detail, and detached retinas from a urinal cake to the eye is hardly in the Holiday spirit. Okay, so this week’s Star cover alleges the Kardashians use Chinese slave labour in the manufacture of their cheap, probably ripped-off designs for K-Dash by Kardashian, the Kris Jenner Kollection and ShoeDazzle.

Star claimed the clothes were made by teen wage slaves in inhumane conditions. The claims were based on cherry-picked quotes from Charles Kernaghan, the head of the Institute for Global Labor and Human Rights, who admitted speaking with the tabloid when probed by TMZ Live (interview below in which Kernaghan admits the investigation being in its infancy, never having seen the factory, and telling Star ‘It was a wise idea to wait on the article; because he had no proof that the specific factories the Kardashians use violated child labor standards or human rights’). Yeah, that about sums it up. But the Kardashians are offering inconsistent responses to the scandal and drawing further ire. Pimp momager told TMZ.com: the factories were ‘strictly policed’ and there were no child labor or human rights violations. The family rep conflicted that, saying they didn’t even know the clothes were made in China: ‘This is the first we are hearing about it and take it very seriously as we would never condone this. We are presently investigating the situation [and are taking this] very seriously.’

Kardashian Klothes Made Using Slave Labour?

THANK YOU, reader Danielle for posting a tip about this on my FB, much obliged. It’s being reported in the new issue of Star, I know… I know… that the Kardashians are using foreign slave labour in the manufacture of their Kardashian Kollection. The report is being parroted in sister outlet RadarOnline.com, who report: ‘The Kardashians are in bed with some pretty bad people,’ Charles Kernaghan, the executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, tells Star: ’Not only are celebrities like the Kardashians taking advantage of these workers, they are holding hands with a government that spits on democracy and women’s rights.’ TMZ.com also reports the investigation, giving the story legs: ‘A human rights group is investigating claims that workers in China, as young as 16, are working in squalid conditions to manufacture merchandise for the K-Dash by Kardashian label, the Kris Jenner Kollection and ShoeDazzle.’ Pimp momager attempts to clarify that the stolen designs aren’t made using slaves, except there’s no way she’d know for sure since she’s never visited where the items are manufactured: ‘As far as I know the factories that are used to manufacture the Kardashian clothing and shoes have nothing terrible going on at all and the factories are very well policed and meet factory standards.’ The Kardashians are now being accused of co-signing human rights abuses to pad their bottom line, with ‘slaves’ allegedly working silently in hot, un-ventilated, squalid factories that are ‘like minimum-security prisons,’ giving minimal or no bathroom breaks, and ‘liv[ing] in squalid factory-run dormitories filled with the stench of sewage while toiling up to 84 hours during seven-day work weeks… [earning $1 an hour]. Workers in the region can come out with as little as $15 a month once rent and food debts have been paid to their bosses.’ Li Qiang, executive director of China Labor Watch, adds: ‘People like the Kardashians are producing products in China because they will get more profit, since the labor cost is so low compared to the United States and other countries.’

Mariah Yeater Still Says Justin Bieber Is A Dad

Mariah Yeater can still make a few more thousand dollars staging shots with paparazzi and selling photo/ video rights to media outlets all the while defaming Justin Bieber and claiming with no proof he’s the father of her baby. Asked by the Chicago Sun-Times on December 14 whether she’d given up this charade, Yeater said nope. Because, MONIES: ‘I am still pursuing the paternity claim through my Chicago attorney Jeffery Leving and my Los Angeles attorney John Carlson but outside of court. I dropped my lawsuit, but never my claim. I still definitely want a DNA test and I want to refile my paternity case. I do believe [Justin] is the father. I had sex with him on Oct. 25, 2010 in a bathroom at the Staples Center in L.A.. [And] yes, I know [Robbie Powell]. He is not the father and he’s locked up and out of the picture.’ Bieber took a test end of November.
