Lindsay Lohan Considers Plea Deal In Theft Case

Lindsay Lohan, pictured at Bowlmor Lanes with brother Michael Jr. in New York City on March 18, is reportedly considering a plea deal. It had been reported the entire way through her felony grand theft case that she’d have no choice but to take a plea deal; a deal that would mean certain jail time. I didn’t really pay much attention because she’s already served jail sentences (for minutes and also for weeks at the end of last year). Despite the judge’s insistence any sentence would be harsh because he was unimpressed by her fame (as in, she wouldn’t be allowed to walk just because she was a celebrity), I’d be pretty sure she’d only serve days; weeks at most. She’d be out before I got her latest mug shot up. Well, in any case, Judge Keith Schwartz has told Lohan’s defense attorney Shawn Chapman Holley the offer on the table is three months in jail for the actress (with only about three weeks of that time actually served, due to overcrowding).

GossipCop.com adds the pressure is on, because ‘should Lohan decide to go to trial, she risks spending at least a year in prison.’ Lohan is due back in court this Friday to give her decision. If she chooses not to accept a plea deal, she will appear before Judge Stephanie Sautner April 22 for a preliminary trial hearing.

Lindsay Lohan’s Jeweller Wants A Book Deal

I couldn’t think of a more succinct title than ‘The Jeweller From Whom Lindsay Lohan Is Alleged To Have Stolen A $2,500 Necklace, Kamofie & Co., Is Shopping A Book.’ So you’re getting the above, though I know they’re not ‘Lohan’s jeweller.’ They’re just the store who’re now in the limelight after having Lohan allegedly steal one item and they’re seemingly rampantly fame-whoring/shilling at every turn (although, they maintain the selling of the security footage of Lohan was to cover lost revenue, post-incident, and it was non-profit making). According to TMZ.com, whom I love for sticking with stories about this store’s actions (writing about things like the store’s wanting to auction the necklace, currently being held as evidence by the L.A. County District Attorney, after the case is resolved… not for profit either, they’re supposedly giving the money to charity), the store tried to legitimately publish a book but haven’t had much luck.

Peaches Geldof Accused of Shoplifting A Dress

Because paying for things is for chumps, Peaches Geldof has been accused of shoplifting. The former girlfriend of Eli Roth, whose only claims to fame are trading off her famous father’s/ ex-boyfriend’s names and getting naked with some random dude in a drug orgy, is accused of stealing an item from a London shop. Staff at the Three Amigos store in Camden Town claimed that the £70 garment disappeared after the 22-year-old columnist and presenter visited last week. The staff tried to contact her about the missing item, but they received no reply. So they called police. It’s thought Geldof is claiming this is just a misunderstanding. The Daily Mail points out this is ‘the latest in a long line of shoplifting allegations for the socialite, though she has always been exonerated.’ Adding, ‘In March 2008, she was accused of leaving the Victim store near Carnaby Street with a £500 dress she had not paid for.’ Like I said, chumps.

Braless Lindsay Lohan Is Taking Court Seriously

Lindsay Lohan’s waste of time, crack-shenanigans, court date was today. I would have passed over the news of her arrival in court, 35 minutes late, and the uneventful ruling thereafter, if Lohan had not arrived braless in a pleather sack thing (see the above compared to her past court outfits). Today, she wore a Raquel Allegra dress, with Chanel shoes, a Judith Ripka necklace, and Dior glasses. There are several things to note here; the most important being she was chastised in no way I can find for arriving late, and I gather she didn’t even leave her house until 8:45 a.m. PST for an 8:30 a.m. PST hearing. She arrived and was spotted in a dress I’d have a hard time even describing. It’s a breast tube. I think. Some kind of weird, pleather, breast tube. The 24-year-old actress was offered, by Judge Keith Schwartz, two more weeks to consider a plea deal that would put her in jail for 90 days (she’d be out in a fraction of that anyway, with good behaviour), if she pled guilty or no contest. In related news, the same judge is paranoid, or not, I guess, after the media found out the sentencing proposal he asked to be kept confidential, saying, ‘I can’t believe how these things leak out, TMZ, Radar, these guys ought to be in the foreign service. I don’t even tell my wife what’s going on, so I can’t understand how they find out this information. It’s not fair to either side to have these things leaked out in drips and drabs. It doesn’t benefit anybody so please try to keep any offer I make confidential.’ You can watch the judge comparing TMZ to the ‘CIA’ this video.

Lindsay Lohan To Sue Over Surveillance Tape

Lindsay Lohan is planning to sue over the sale of the tape on which she’s allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace. I covered yesterday how the item was supposedly stolen from a store, Kamofie & Company, the owners of which decided to torpedo the case against the actress. Despite knowing the prosecution and defense in the theft case against Lohan disapproved, the store owners decided to go ahead with the sale and raise tens of thousands of dollars that they claimed went towards covering expenses caused by the scandal. This even though they called anyone else in possession of a copy, asking they show no one else and not sell their personal copy so the store’s ‘bidding war’ could earn them the most money. The surveillance tape is shown below; it’s a preview from Entertainment Tonight, who brokered the rights to usage through Associated Press who’ve been handling distribution rights. For one week’s exclusive usage, the store made $40,000; with the end of the week, the store will be able to make more money for non-exclusive use. The tape doesn’t show that much and neither did the stills which proceeded it. Anyhow, TMZ reports Lohan’s going to sue Kamofie & Company for profiting off her name/ likeness with the sale of the below and its stills. Lohan claims the store had no right to profit from the sale of the tape because she never gave them the right to use her image for profit. It’s not certain at this point when she’s going to file, but she met with lawyers today.

Naked Pictures of Britney Spears May Be Leaked

A former bodyguard of Britney Spears has threatened to leak explicit naked pictures of the singer. Fernando Flores was in the media, last year, claiming that he had been sexually harassed by Spears; news to which several outlets responded, alarmingly, that he should have been grateful to have a female boss walking around naked exposing her genitals at every opportunity, ignoring the dichotomy of the situation were the sexes swapped. Well, Flores is still running to The Sun UK newspaper about working with Spears. The 29-year-old former policeman claims he will use the images as evidence in his multi-million lawsuit against the singer; as such, those nudes, assuming they exist, would become public. Someone claiming to be a friend of Flores, who also claims to have seen the images, says, ‘They are really explicit images that will shock and disgust the majority of her fans.’ Adding, ‘Fernando says he can prove the photos were taken on Britney’s phone and sent to his mobile. He says she sent them last April when she was coming on to him on a daily basis.’ Describing the alleged images, the ‘friend’ says, ‘Some of the pictures show Britney with the camera between her legs. Others show her in provocative positions wearing lingerie. There are a few where she is naked, exposing herself in a way that she clearly hoped would make him aroused.’ This could explain why Spears wanted the case kept private although her lawyer explained that away, ‘there is a possibility that Spears will be exposed to danger by the release of confidential and personal information.’
