Michael Lohan Served in TLC Gosselin Lawsuit

Michael Lohan has been subpoenaed to testify in the TLC lawsuit against Jon Gosselin.

Michael Lohan tells TMZ that a process server contacted him on Friday Nov 6. about testifying in TLC’s breach on contract lawsuit against Jon Gosselin.

Rather than tell them to bugger off and then scuttling back under his rock, Lohan did the dutiful thing, informed them he was out of town and that they could leave the papers at his house. Meaning he hasn’t seen the papers in person as yet.

This delightful lawsuit between TLC and Gosselin should be hilarious and epic. Actually, anything horrid that happens to Gosselin is hilarious and epic. This includes the rapid descent of his hairline, which seems to be at war with his face.

Levi Johnston Suing Mad Over Twitter Imposter

Levi Johnston is taking legal action against Twitter after being impersonated on the site.

The baby daddy of Sarah Palin’s grandson has his big boy panties in a knot. Johnston is suing mad, because he claims there is an impostor tweeting as if they were the real thing. ET obtained a statement from the rep of the baby-faced father, in which he bellyaches about the fake account.

Further embarrassment came after the allegedly fake tweets were read as spoken word poetry by William Shatner last night on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. This was done with it being implied the twatty tweets were real.

Johnston’s lawyer, Rex Butler, tells E! Online that his client actually doesn’t have a Twitter. After all, who needs one when you have tweens to knock up. There are only so many hours in the day, and you can’t get busy impregnating when you’re committing caps and ellipse abuse online.

Carrie Prejean Sex Tape Reason for Settlement

Carrie Prejean has a tape, yes that kind of tape. The former Miss California has a sex tape that has been floating around in the media for months.

Carrie Prejean’s tape contains explicit sexual acts, according to TMZ who claim to have seen the tape after coming into possession of a copy months ago. The tape was also the trigger for her settlement with Miss California USA.

In another case of selective morality, TMZ claim they didn’t post the Carrie Prejean tape because it would not have been the right thing to do. This would be the same organisation that posted Jasmine Fiore death photos. Well, whatever. The tape has come to light again and seems to have been the trigger for the lawsuits between herself and the Miss California organisers being dropped.

Prejean demanded more than a million dollars during her suit negotiations. Seeing the tape and not wanting her nipples exposed more than they were during her topless scandal, Prejean walked away with nothing.

Carrie Prejean & Miss California Drop Lawsuits

Carrie Prejean and the people behind the Miss California pageant have dropped their respective lawsuits against each other.

The news comes by way of a press release received to the site less than an hour ago, that the two parties concerned are no longer pursuing legal action. Carrie Prejean was suing in some nonsense suit against the people of Miss California, stating that they did unscrupulous things to tarnish her reputation and that she was ousted from the pageant for religious reasons. The production company behind the pageant sued her right back, claiming to want back the $5,200 they paid for her breast augmentation and other issues.

The statement sent to assorted media outlets, including this sassy one right here, claims that the two parties no longer wish to poke each other in the eye until they back down. They now wish each other the best, want to move forward, and look only to the conveniently-timed upcoming pageant.

Kate Winslet Wins £25,000 Libel Lawsuit Payout

Kate Winslet has won substantial libel damages against UK newspaper the Daily Mail.

Kate Winslet announced she was going to file the lawsuit against the rag, in May. The newspaper was accused of being a bunch of lie-tellers and fibbers, who were hell-bent on convincing their substantial readership that Winslet was not a fully-recovered chocoholic. The article the star sued over was published in January, and claimed that all her ass did was sit around and eat Bon Bons. This inferred that all her spouting about healthy eating and a new exercise regime was an utter lie. This made her mad as heck, as she has been working her booty off and is less than half the woman she used to be. No one can cope without carbs for that length of time and not lash out.

It was announced today a settlement of £25,000 in libel damages from the Daily Mail must be paid to the actress. The decision was made at London’s High Court. Winslet was so excited by the news she didn’t even bother to roll her skinny behind out of bed to hear the verdict.

In a statement today, the actress said, “I am delighted that the Mail have apologised for making false allegations about me. I was particularly upset to be accused of lying about my exercise regime and felt that I had a responsibility to request an apology in order to demonstrate my commitment to the views that I have always expressed about body issues, including diet and exercise.”

“I strongly believe that women should be encouraged to accept themselves as they are, so to suggest that I was lying was an unacceptable accusation of hypocrisy,” [she continued]. The article in question suggested that Winslet had been dishonest when she told Elle magazine that she relies on workout DVDs because she does not use gyms. The Daily Mail printed a retraction and apologised last month. (via Digital Spy)

Rihanna Says Abuse Can Affect Any Relationship

Rihanna will be giving an interview to GMA, on Thursday. In the interview she opens up for the first time about the beating by Chris Brown.

For the first time, we get to hear what the Alien Princess felt, being the victim of a brutal beating at the hands of the man she called her first big love. She has never before gone into detail about that night, nine months ago, that saw no real legal ramifications for those involved and no sensible discussions take place about spousal abuse/ other physical abuse within a relationship. Instead, we were treated to a media free-for-all and the realisation that a lot of Chris Brown fans have low enough standards to still find his woman-beating butt attractive.

Nine months after her fight with Chris Brown, Rihanna finally opens up about the night that left her bruised and bloody. “This happened to me. … It can happen to anyone,” the singer, 21, tells Diane Sawyer in an interview airing Thursday on Good Morning America and on 20/20 on Friday. Nicole Richie Protection from Two Paparazzi

Nicole Richie has been granted a temporary restraining order against two paparazzi.

The two annoying snappers, Eduardo Arrivebene and Ivon Miguel, have been ordered to stay 100 yards away from the 28-year-old mother and her two children Harlow, 21 months, and Sparrow, 6 weeks.

This is like most celebritys’ wet dreams. It’s only two paparazzi, sure, but it’s two less people who are up this poor young mother’s butt crack, all the waking hours of the day. She said in a statement that the two men went further in their pursuit of a photo than paparazzi should. They were essentially stalkers with cameras, hunting her down on a daily basis. They would even yell at her in order to try to get as reaction, and chase her vehicle in an attempt to get their photos.

I kind of wish all celebs would follow suit with the more aggressive paparazzi. Every one’s just trying to make a living but some of us don’t feel the need to stalk and harass people while we do.

Larry Johnson Barred and Sorry for Using Slur

Larry Johnson, running back for The Kansas City Chiefs, has been barred after using a gay slur.

The NFL star, Larry Johnson, was sidelined from team activities after he let his mouth run away with him on Monday 26, Oct.. He made what sounded like gay slurs, towards reporters. The sportsman was said to have made the comment when aggressively telling reporters to get away from him. He may also have used the slur on his Twitter too, which he has since made private.

Of course, you don’t get to have the fun of calling people disgusting and belittling names anymore, without everyone and their grannies getting their panties in a bunch. As such, the poor homophobe had to say sowwy. In a statement released by way of his spokeswh-re, Johnson said sorry to everyone and their Aunt Fanny. However, he forgot to say sorry to the gay community.

GLAAD President Jarrett Barrios responded to the apology by saying there is no excuse for such language. Barrios also said GLAAD want to use this opportunity to set an example to other NFL players, regarding what is and isn’t acceptable.

Dr. Arnold Klein Going After the Jackson Estate

Dr. Arnold Klein, the friend/ former doctor of Michael Jackson, is going after the Jackson estate.

The suspect of a doctor has sat around twiddling his thumbs since it came out that the Jackson kids were not going to be his meal ticket. As such, he has done the rather delicious thing of hatching a new evil plot. This time he is going directly after the Jackson estate itself, by way of filing a creditor’s claim.

In the court documents filed by Klein, as read by TMZ, the doctor claims to have performed 179 procedures on the singer. These procedures were all supposedly in the three months prior to Jackson’s death. Klein is asking for $48,522.89 worth of fees, accrued from March 23 to three days before Jackson’s death, June 22. The procedures he wants the estate to cough up money for include a laundry list of work that would make Dr. Frankenstein proud.

Brody Jenner and Girlfriend Sued by Joe Francis

Brody Jenner and Playmate girlfriend Jayde Nicole are being sued by Girls Gone Wild’s Joe Francis.

Joe Francis has made the rather odd claim that he feared for his life, during August’s ridiculous bar fight. The two opposing sides in the fight have still not come to a consensus over what happened. Despite this, the least likely scenario is the one that Francis is suing mad over.

Francis claims that somewhere in between being flashed by random skanks with low self-esteem in the club and getting his drink on, 115-pound Jayde Nicole threatened to kill him. That isn’t the weird part. The weird part is that he claims he was terrified for his life, after the leggy waif allegedly struck him. She is reported to have hit him, thrown a drink on him, and then yelled that she was going to kill him. Rather than laugh in the face of his diminutive foe, Francis says he wet his big girl panties and made a whaaaah face.

Francis also says Brody Jenner attacked him in a jealous rage, later that night.

The suit against both Jenner and Nicole includes allegations of battery, assault, slander, libel, and even negligence.

More specifics, along with three photos of Brody Jenner and Jayde Nicole who was 2008 Playmate of the Year as the two had lunch at Urth Caffe yesterday.

According to the lawsuit, Francis claims he was innocently walking through a crowd of people at “Guys and Dolls” nightclub in Hollywood, when Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole suddenly struck him in the head, threw a drink on him and stated, “I’m going to kill you!” Francis claims he was “startled and shocked” — but then he saw Jayde reaching for a bottle. In the docs, Francis claims “in fear and apprehension of being struck a third time and that Nicole was going to carry out her threat to kill him,” Joe grabbed Nicole’s hair in “self-defense.”

Francis is now suing both Brody and Jayde for battery, assault, negligence, slander, libel and false light — because after the bar incident, Francis claims the two lied when they recounted the incident to a TMZ cameraman who was outside the club. (via TMZ).
