Of course. I guess I should have seen this coming. The last few weeks of convoluted lies about her weight have been some kind of even more convoluted shill for Kirstie Alley’s own Scientology-based dietary regime. I’d forgotten she endorses this, but Alley does have some diet program and website on which she uses Scientology principles to aid weight loss; that is, it’s not explicit, but it’s allegedly an inoffensive front that insidiously lures people to try other parts of the religion. So, after weeks of telling lies about shrinking to the 22-inch waist of Megan Fox and going from a size 12 to size four, we learn the real way Alley did it… Scientology. Oh. What? Well, Alley recently revealed that she lost 90 lbs total so far. ‘I lost 60 before [the show] and 30 during,’ she said. As well as diet and exercise, Alley credited a diet plan that’s been linked heavily to the church for which she shills. Asked how she slimmed down, she credited Organic Liaison, ‘I don’t think I could have made it through Dancing with the Stars without it.’
Photos show Alley in NYC, on June 21, 90 lbs lighter, with a near 22-inch waist.
