Carrie Underwood is Wearing Short Shorts Too

Carrie Underwood made an appearance on The Today Show in NYC, July 30, 2010 dressed as a schoolgirl stripper who was not even keeping up the pretense of ‘working her way through school’. Underwood, who married and returned from her honeymoon this month, was the musical guest performing today at the Rockefeller Center, NY. The jacket, shirt, and tie, combo would look better and less ‘school kid’ if they all fitted. The short shorts are cute, and I guess here to stay; the pop socks… not so much. All of the aforementioned, with those open toe boots? Lord. More pictures of this very busy outfit, in the gallery.

Carrie Underwood People Wedding Issue Scans

Late yesterday, I posted the second of the photos to be released from People magazine’s July 26, 2010 issue showing Carrie Underwood’s wedding. The image showed the bride and groom, hand-in-hand, like a designer-clad Beauty and the Smoosh-Faced No-Shaving Hockey-Playing Beast (her husband Mike Fisher sure has a… um… well-lived-in face, huh?). Today, the full set of scans from the magazine can be found, so I wanted to share those too. I didn’t really think that many people would be interested in Mr and Mrs B-List Vanilla’s wedding, but they’re People worthy, apparently, so that’s good enough for me. Carrie Underwood took the slightly backassward, but profitable, step of selling her wedding photos to help ensure ‘privacy’ on the day. These kinds of sales mean that the wedding party only has to worry about one set of over-eager photographers on the day, rather than the fiasco with the Katie Price/ Alex Reid blessing where paparazzi knew of the event and were fist fighting security while trying to get a better shot of her dress. I always feel kind of dirty looking at these photos. But I look anyway. Yeah, I do. You can see a picture of Carrie Underwood’s wedding, her wedding dress and her husband (who appears to have been punched in the face… oh, never mind) as taken from the new People issue.

Carrie Underwood was one of about 70 f***ing people who got married this weekend (including Emily Blunt, Martin Lawrence, and LaLa Vasquez). Seriously. Everyone and they mama got married and, as D-Listed put it, ruined their lives.

I’m thinking there was some kind of wedding dress twofer sale at Vera Wang/ Monique Lhuillier or wherever. Someone went and grabbed the dresses, while someone else used the change to get the shared bucket-o-wings that comprised everyone’s wedding buffets. Carrie Underwood Married in Weekend Wedding

Because celebrities love nothing more than marrying on a weekend, and screwing with my taking the time off, two pairs of the blighters had weddings this weekend. Carrie Underwood, 27, married her 30-year-old hockey player partner, Mike Fisher. Also, The Office US actor John Krasinski married The Devil Wears Prada actress Emily Blunt. Underwood’s engagement was announced just before Christmas 2009, and so I’d forgotten all about it. Though, to be fair, they did plan their wedding in human months not celebrity months, which is bound to fluster anybody. Underwood flashed her engagement ring from Fisher on the red carpet throughout the first quarter of the year. The pair married in a pretty huge wedding in front of 250 guests. Underwood wore a Monique Lhuillier dress. The wedding was accompanied with classical music and readings from the bible. The wedding took place Saturday June 10, 2010  at the Ritz Carlton in Greensboro, Georgia. Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, Faith Hill and Garth Brooks were among the guests. Pictures show American Idol alum’s ring.

Red Carpet Photos for Grammy Awards 2010

The red carpet fashion for the 52nd annual Grammy Awards, 2010, was just as ass-tastic and lethal on your eyes as you had imagined it being. If people weren’t wrapping themselves up in tin foil and glitter and being done with it (yes, I’m looking at you, Lady GaGa), they were wearing what looked to be identical to performance outfits we’d seen in the past, or they were a flat out fizzle.

Be sure to either pop in your Photoshop-effect contact lenses to iron out the worst offenders, or smear some Vaseline over your eyeballs so even the worst red carpet fashions can be viewed with that other-worldly fuzzy glow.

The attendees at the Grammy Awards who walked the red carpet included, Lady GaGa, Mary J. Blige, Fergie, Beyonce who looked like she’d lost a fight with a glitter gun and it went off in her hair, ew, Rihanna who looked too adorable, Adam Lambert, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Snooki (can I get a collective eye-roll), Carrie Underwood’s new weave, Jennifer Hudson, and Jennifer Lopez striking the same pose and constipated face as always.
