Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not finding their days quite full enough with their six children. They are also designing jewellery for luxury British company, Asprey.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been rumoured to be going through a rocky patch, with tales of everything from a frosty love life, to Jolie adopting alone.

Miserable non-marriage and life together aside for one moment, they seem to have realised what really matters. Creating saintly trinkets for obscure overseas companies, sold at prices that are best-suited for other celebrities.

The snake-inspired limited edition line, entitled The Protector, has been in the works for over a year. Prices start at $525 for a silver baby spoon and proceeds go to Jolie’s charity Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.

Megan Fox is incapable of shutting her trap, as she demonstrates in New York Times magazine.

Megan Fox did several things rather well in her New York Times magazine interview. The 23-year-old actress looked beautiful on the cover photo above, she spoke in full sentences to NYT writer Lynn Hirschberg without the aid of any kind of mind-altering substances, and she made a dig at Angelina Jolie so subtle it could take your breath away. Okay, it won’t so much take your breath away as make you want to hold your breath until she agrees to stop talking.

In the interview the star is reported to have called her fellow actress, serious and stoic. She maintained that comparisons to the saintly serial-adopter were the bane of her existence. As such, she lives and breathes to be the antithesis of what Jolie stands for. That’s as well as may be, but Three Films McGee doesn’t need to be making any further comments about a freakin’ Oscar winner.

• Lynn Hirschberg details at length how Megan has copied Angelina Jolie, and then Megan complains about the comparisons: Fox complains that the Jolie comparisons are now “the bane of my existence,” which is part of the reason she wanted to host S.N.L.. [...] Fox maintained that, unlike Jolie, she has a sense of humor and that her interviews are meant to be funny rather than provocative. “People compare me to Angelina Jolie, and she’s so serious and stoic,” Fox explained. “I’m the opposite. When I do interviews, I say things that I think are hysterical. But because we live in a world of sound bites, you’re not allowed to have a sense of humor. Sarcasm doesn’t translate in print at all. And neither does self-deprecating humor. I’m not a tigress like Angelina. Of course, people want me to be. But I want to be the contradiction of that.”
• Megan on the whole “Michael Bay is like Hitler” controversy, and the open letters from crew members that followed: “I got myself in this whole mess. But it doesn’t matter. I know that the things they said about me in the crew letter were not true, but Bay is not happy with some of the things I’ve said about him. I was waiting for someone to defend me, to say, ‘That’s not accurate,’ but nobody did. I think it’s because I’m a girl. They left me out there to be bludgeoned to death.”
• Megan on trying to appeal to women: “Women tear each other apart. Girls think I’m a sl-t, and I’ve been in the same relationship since I was 18. The problem is, if they think you’re attractive, you’re either stupid or a wh-re or a dumb wh-re. The instinct among girls is to attack the jugular.”

According to OK! magazine, Angelina Jolie may be planning to adopt without the aid of Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are solely responsible for the cute orphan shortage currently affecting the rest of Hollywood. Because of Pitt’s desire to have a soccer team entirely of his spawn, there are now precisely 75% less adorable babies on the open market for vultures like Madonna to come and snatch.

The saints and their cherubs already make for a picture perfect clan. However, a new set of allegations in the magazine claim that Pitt is not ready to appropriate any more kids as he’s too busy growing an unattractive forest on his chin. It’s alleged that Jolie is still baby-crazy and wants a little girl from Syria.

This decision is allegedly putting a strain on a relationship that, oddly, doesn’t appear to be sustained by sex alone.

As a side-note, once you push past all of the rumours and fun-sicles on the OK! November 23, 2009 cover, there is a sneaky picture of Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva’s newborn baby inset in the bottom left corner.

Orphans on every continent watch out. Angelina Jolie has admitted in an interview that she wants to add more children to her already ample family. The unofficial Saint, Goodwill Ambassador, and mother to six children under the age of nine, said she can see herself expanding her family with both adopted and biological children.

Angelina Jolie, and her currently empty womb, admitted in the October 2009 issue of British magazine, Stylist, that she and partner Brad Pitt plan to add two or more children to their brood. Whether they go on to adopt further children, or have more children who are biologically their own.

“I can see further additions to the family, both adopted and our own,” Angelina, 34, tells the British magazine Stylist in its October issue. Brad and Angie plan to add two more children, if not more, to their family, confirms an insider close to the couple. “They want one more biological baby and an adopted baby, for now,” the insider says. “But who knows what the future holds. Some people get addicted to drugs and alcohol, but Brad and Angie are addicted to children.” (via Life & Style)

Angelina Jolie revealed that she is back in contact with her estranged father.

You remember her actor father, Jon Voight. When baby Zahara Jolie-Pitt was adopted he didn’t even know the poor mite’s name. He played 20 questions with interviewers on the red carpet, trying to figure out what on earth she was called.

Well, Voight and Jolie have finally made peace. Thus ending one of the longest, and saddest, crazy daddy and daughter fallings out of all time. The pair have promised a very special promise, without their fingers crossed behind their backs, that they will play nicely and not make passive-aggressive comments about each other in public any more.

Angie cut ties with her dad after his womanising ended his marriage to her mum, late actress Marcheline Bertrand.

She said, “We’re in contact now and writing letters. My parents gave me a strong social conscience as well as any acting genes I may have. “Both my parents were very focused on helping other people and supported charities all their lives.” However, she’s hell bent on bringing her six kids up differently to the way she was raised. She added, “I don’t want them raised as children who have ‘movie star’ parents. “I grew up around that myself and I want to make sure ours are removed from it.” (via The Sun)

Brad Pitt appeared on Real Time With Bill Maher August 14, 2009.

While there, he talks about the usual things he bores every interviewer with; being a dad, rights for non-straight couples and being a former pot-head. Wait… wut? That’s right. The father of six has been broadening his un-saintly interview repertoire to include tales of doing pot with his former beau, Juliette Lewis.

The Inglorious Basterds actor was showered with compliments about what a good little smokey bear he was, in one of the weirdest interviews ever. Around the 9:53 mark, Maher begins praising him for an accurate stoner impression in True Romance, a part that Pitt says came “straight from home”.

Pitt claims that he no longer smokes the good stuff; it makes him feel all “Whooooo” and he needs to feel “Yaaaay” to get through one day as a father of six kids all under the age of 10.

Check out the above. Hint: It’s easier to get through if you watch it while smoking a blunt.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie appeared at the Inglourious Basterds premiere.

The couple wore all black on the red carpet, for the Los Angeles premiere for the Tarantino movie. Personally, I’d say the purdy couple are a little long in the tooth to be wearing Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson’s emo castoffs, but perhaps it’s not something one grows out of.

Angelina Jolie had the dubious honour of having a life-size nude statue of herself breastfeeding her twins, made in bronze by New York-based artist Daniel Edwards. This is the same crazy doodle that made the pink Octomom sculpture and the one of a crowning Britney Spears in labour. He seems to have a rather vivid imagination.

The statue, titled Landmark for Breastfeeding, was inspired by Angie’s 2008 W Magazine cover, in which she was photographed by boyfriend Brad Pitt nursing their newborns. The piece will soon be displayed on Oklahoma City, where passing grannys will fall down, go BOOM, when they see it on their way to bingo.

As reported a few days ago, there is set to be a Megan Fox partial media blackout on certain men’s websites. However, the actress seems intent on putting off her fans much earlier than the defined date of August 4, 2009.

The 23-year-old has taken yet another pop at her fishlipped saintly creator, Angelina Jolie. Fox says that she is sick of the comparisons and that talking about sex more often than your drunkard, stripper cousin (the one that no one talks about) does not make her fishlips v2.0.

“I think its cause she has tattoos really, I think a lack of creativity on the media’s part,” Fox said. “I am a brunette with tattoos, I curse and I have made mention of sex before. I joked about it which people find outrageous so they want to constantly compare that to her. You know Shia is the new Tom Hanks, Rhianna is the new Beyonce. Everybody is the new somebody although none of us are any of those people so you just walk around with it you live with it.”

However Fox isn’t the only one quick to diss the comparison, Jolie’s own father Jon Voight agrees that the two really aren’t alike. “Megan is herself and Angelina is herself. No one is comparable; everyone in the world is unique,” Voight told Tarts at the recent “Transformers” premiere in Los Angeles. “That’s the great thing about it, but of course they’re two very beautiful women.” (via Fox News)

Angelina Jolie has just scored herself the lucrative deal of being the new face of Armani’s latest fragrance line.

How on earth the actress is going to find time to carry on with these endorsements with her young family and her growing political aspirations, is any one’s guess. But for now, the new tie-ins keep on coming.

This is Armani, so the fragrance will most likely not contain orphan’s tears or puppy sweat, or any of the other ingredients her Loonies will have come to expect. Saint Angelina probably smells like Brad Pitt’s breath and freshly cut grass. Or maybe she still smells like Billy Bob’s armpits. Who knows. But we do know the designers are going to have one heck of a hard time producing anything that will match to her saintly beauty.

A fashion industry source tells Life & Style, “Armani rolled up the Brink’s truck for Angelina, because frankly, she’s worth it. For this fragrance push, they needed a true A-lister, and Angelina is the biggest, most dynamic female star in the world.” The insider says Angelina is very hands-on with the process, saying, “She’s giving a lot of input on that stuff already, picking the photographers and directors.
