Angelina Jolie’s Greatness Ruined Her Marriage

This made me sadder than it should have and this post is going to be brought to you by the letter ‘S’ for ‘sad,’ and I’m going to type this whole thing while sticking out my bottom lip in memoriam of this failed marriage. Billy Bob Thornton and Billy Bob Thornton’s head weave and chin weave gave separate interviews with ABC’s Nightline and agreed they weren’t fancy enough for Angelina Jolie who, evidently, now being engaged to Brad Pitt, demands silky locks that don’t come from the twofer shelf in the hair salon. He says he ‘blew it’ in his brief marriage because he was too ‘insecure’ to make it work. The 56-year-old explained: ‘I blew it because I didn’t think I was good enough for her. I was just too insecure. People actually said that I didn’t deserve to be with her.’ Which is sad, if only because a man in his late 40s at the time was so affected by the media. He continues: ‘Angie, I felt, was definitely too good for me and at some point, if you believe somebody’s too good for you, you’re going to mess it up. I always thought I was sort of Quasimodo or the Phantom Of The Opera hiding in the catacombs. And when I was with her I think that really reached its heights. When you’re in a relationship, any two celebrities or whatever, you know, I think that puts on a lot of pressure. When Angie and I got married, during that time, I was more famous than she was to start with. Then she becomes this big thing, it’s hard in these relationships. We had a great marriage and I chickened out because I didn’t feel good enough. That’s all that happened.’

Jennifer Aniston: Wedding Story Is ‘Fabrication’

Jennifer Aniston isn’t planning a wedding to Justin Theroux without first being engaged to Justin Theroux, says Jennifer Aniston. Nor is Jennifer Aniston desperate to beat Angelina Jolie down the aisle because EVERYTHING’S FINE, says Jennifer Aniston. Nor is she scouting for wedding locations anywhere nor planning a wedding for any date because TMZ.com screwed up by pasting a bunch of stuff from a random Crete hotel’s website rather than the all caps ‘I WIN’ Aniston sent them by email. GossipCop.com note the story started in the National Enquirer a month ago and it was debunked already. Soon after, similar details appeared in Star Magazine given by the same source. The rep tells Gossip Cop that TMZ’s story is ‘fabrication’ that looks like a ‘placed ad for the hotel.’ The rep also tells NYDN: ‘It’s just another fabrication!’ And the rep tells RumorFix.com: ‘It’s just another lie. She has not been to Greece in years.’

Angelina Jolie Already Did This Ring Reveal

Stripping the idea of a ring reveal of all its glamour, here’s Angelina Jolie making sure the peasants get their shot while standing in the street outside the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA April 16. I figure, the reveal at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Chinese Galleries was an oddly-staged event. After which, esteemed jeweller Robert Procorp was given permission to take credit in The Hollywood Reporter while top-tier outlets brokered access to the photos. Now everyone’s had their fill, and People revealed its Monday cover, we’re getting the scraps. 15 photos of Angelina Jolie’s ring in the daylight below.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s Engagement Cover

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt cover the special issue of People that was released Monday because information you already read online can’t wait until Wednesday. This is the kind of special attention afforded the British royal wedding. And it’ll be the attention afforded the Jolie-Pitt wedding. Things like the dress reveal will warrant a cover, but not this much newsstand fawning. The only elaboration worth mentioning is the ring cost. Us Weekly estimated the ring cost $500,000 with a center stone of around seven-carats for a total of 16-carats around the yellow gold band. People claims it’s a $1 million ring with a total of 10-carats.

A Photo Of Angelina Jolie’s Engagement Ring

Here’s a better look at Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring for the three of you who didn’t love-vom Friday’s dinner all over my Facebook to the tune of ‘NO1 CURR!’ This is a better shot than the exclusive afforded The Hollywood Reporter in what appeared to be an agreed-upon deal where the jeweller broke the news and Brad Pitt’s manager sat on standby with a form letter saying simply ‘Trololol.’ The best I can gather, Robert Procorp had the green light to confirm the engagement at which time THR probably brokered access to the photo. Pitt’s rep then confirmed the news to the Associated Press and others. It’s the only way I can fathom not-RoboCop kept alive a business based on trust and digression. In any case, here’s the ring that cost $1 milllion with a seven-carat center stone.

Confirmed: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Engaged

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are engaged. THR claims the exclusive. A Beverly Hills jeweller is taking credit for the ring Jolie wore Wednesday at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Chinese Galleries that took a year to design.

A rep for jeweller Robert Procop told THR: ‘Yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt… Working closely with Brad Pitt to realize the star’s vision for the ring, Robert Procop was able to source a diamond of the finest quality which was then transformed using Pitt’s unique designs, cut with distinctive faceting to a shape and size that perfectly suits Angelina’s long, slender fingers. Throughout, Brad Pitt remained heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design process from the perfect cut of the diamond centerpiece, an elongated tablet shape, to the finishing touches such as the mounting of a galaxy of smaller stones which are graduated in size and faceted to match, adding a crowning lustre to the ring. The full creative journey, from conception to completion, took a year, with Brad Pitt waiting until the perfect moment to unveil this jewel.’

Pitt’s manager confirmed to the Associated Press. Adding that while no wedding date has been set ‘at this time’ the engagement is ‘a promise for the future.’
