Amy Winehouse has checked out of rehab after one week of treatment. Bare in mind, it probably felt like less, as she was reportedly drinking on the way there. In any case, Winehouse is already out of The Priory and any therapy immediately after this will be in the form of an outpatient treatment program. ‘[Amy Winehouse] has completed her assessment at the Priory Clinic in London and will continue as an outpatient,’ the singer’s publicist, Tracey Miller, said in a statement, ‘She is now looking forward to playing shows around Europe this summer and is raring to go. She would like to send thanks to all her fans for the messages of support received over the last week and can’t wait to see them.’

Amy Winehouse, about whom I’d entirely forgotten if you can believe that, has gone back to rehab. The 27-year-old singer is confirmed to have entered treatment as part of her ongoing recovery from alcohol and narcotics addictions. She’s taking the Lindsay Lohan approach to sobriety, which is comforting; allegedly purchasing alcohol on her way to The Priory rehab clinic on Wednesday. Us Weekly claims she, ‘[Entered] Meadway Food and Wine in Southgate, North London to buy a miniature bottle of Smirnoff.’ The Sun newspaper reports the same. ‘She seemed out of it,’ said an onlooker. ‘She was stumbling about, slurring her words. I was shocked to see her buy vodka so early in the day, and even more shocked to see her knock it straight back.’ That sounds about right. I guess buying alcohol on the way there’s one better than sneaking out, not getting caught until it’s no longer relevant, and drinking while in rehab. The singer’s spokesperson tells The Daily Mail that Winehouse checked into the facility because ‘She [just] wants to be ready for performances in Europe this summer.’

17-year-old Amy Winehouse wrote a to-do list in her notebook/ diary. It’s quite possibly the cutest to-do list ever, even though it reads like it was written by a 12-year-old drag queen-to-be. Its entries include ‘get teeth fixed’, which I’m pretty sure she didn’t. And ‘Live like the bombshell I really am.’ Which may be my favourite thing I’ve read. And not just in someone’s leaked teen journal. The singer totes should have stuck to that second-to-last point, along with the thing about the sunbed (you can use those booths to become Avatar, no?). Totes.
