Hi ya’ll this is just a quick note to say sorry for no FeedBurner Email Updates yesterday… The programme threw a bitchfit when the clocks went back one-hour, here in the UK and as a result, the posts didn’t make it out [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

Pretty sure I fixed it. Will keep testing and should work today or tomorrow by the latest.

Hello [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

This is a quick sticky-note, to let you know that I will be playing around with the website formatting over the next week or two.

Between now and next week, I will be trialing the following.

• Rather that four long posts per-day, I will be trying out writing up to eight far shorter, but none-the-less snarky posts - this is a big one for me as I love writing, but I am curious to see what this does for site readability. I know my posts resemble frikkin’ short stories and that can be a lot to take
• I will mix up post length and subject matter and gage the reaction at a later date.
• I will be adding several more entertainment photos to posts, as thumbnails, as and when required.
• I will make images slightly wider and easier to view.
• And, the BIGGY, making entertainment images with a logo clickable, so they take you to the picture’s post page (non-branded images and anything else, I’ll have to play by ear).*

Please note – None of the above is permanent! Depending on the results over the next week or two, I’ll update with what is and isn’t staying.

Hi, I wanted to let you guys know that the lack of 14 October posts is due to me being very poorly. Once I stop dying of (suspected) food-poisoning, I’ll be back to posting as usual [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

Assuming that I haven’t died of either food-poisoning or Cheeto withdrawal, I am planning for some real goodies tomorrow.

Can’t promise posting 15 Oct. but should be up to speed again by 16 Oct., at the latest, otherwise the Amy Winehouse crackie-jitters will get me (I get a bit shaky after a few days of not blogging… pretty sure that not blogging is worse for my health than undercooked food!)

Planning some new celeb posts, pics and at least 1 NSFW funny Brit Brit post, stay tuned…

Hello… calmed down a bit since my shouty rant, yesterday [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

Thanks for the back-rub Chris*, and for the *ahem* medicinal booze Mik*, and for the words of encouragement Danity*. You guys are tops, makes my world go round, innit

To be frank, I meant every word, but I am just not feeling so shouty inside today.

I had an OK day at work today and so didn’t come home feeling like throttling someone (yay). Ate a nice lunch, had some chocolate, pooped and now I am good to go. FYI – I won’t be making a particular habit of ripping web-leeches a new arsehole, but if need be, I will flame them out again.

Today is a new day and perhaps they got the hint, as I noticed they had been a bit quieter even in the last 24 hours.

We shall see…

Any poop, feeling sassy and ready to post, so you’ll see a few posts up in the next 2 hours as usual.

I don’t think I am going to have the time to do ‘Commenter of the Week’, as it takes near 45 minutes to put together and I have important admin to do and that has to come first. Suspect it’ll have to be passed over until next week.

Might do something else mid-week to make up for it. Will have a think.

This is just a quick note, to set a few things straight, as there are some things that have been p*ssing me off of late… [Website – Amy Grindhouse]

This post is only for the leeches that I seem to have acquired by running this blog and does not apply to most who will be nosey and read it anyway (having said that, if you even think I may be talking about you, you are probably right and should read on).

I am a one-woman blog and frankly, I am not your f*cking free blog-advisor. I have been nice, thus far, and very open as my regular readers are the same way. I am not, however, anyone’s blog consultant. So basically, unless you are a very good friend to this blog, stop asking me inane questions. You’re driving me potty!

I have been spending a lot of time lately, spoon-feeding some fellow bloggers. Don’t get me wrong, I am all about using the blogosphere as a community and connecting with people with similar interests. However, one thing I have never done is beg another blogger for tips or outright jacked their sh*t.

I work very hard at researching everything that goes into making this blog. I have spent years developing the ideas behind the concept and months researching each of its elements, in order to put it together.

For example, each post, on here, takes up to 45 minutes and 8 sources to write and is accompanied by (mostly) licensed images and official HQ video. So, you can see why it chaps my arse and saps my energy, not publicly flaming people who I can see have been lazy and ripped off my ideas/ work/ leads/ images/ links. If you run your own blog, and especially if you started before me, you shouldn’t really need so much help from a noob, eh? Work it out your mudderfunkin’ self and stop hittin’ me up when you get stuck/ nicking content and formatting/ otherwise biting my style.

Don’t be lazy. You’ll get no more freebies from me. Do your own research!

I only have so many hours in the day and I would rather spend them blogging than hand-holding.

Again, for those who read this post despite the above disclaimer, I am not flaming 95% of those who have read this. Just saying is all. I know this post sucks b*lls, but it needed to be said.

P.S. I may well be updating my About and Terms & Legal pages in the next few days to reflect the above.

UPDATE/ ADDENDUM: I noticed that several of the people, at whom I aimed this post, stopped by and did not read this open letter. Some paid a visit and conveniently skipped right over it. I would strongly advise that people go back and read this post once more, if they even think I may be talking about them.

Do not mistake my responses/ emails/ comments for acknowledgement that the above is not about you. Really, a friendly response to a comment, does not absolve you of the above. All it means is that I try to keep my comment areas civil. Frankly, unless I mention to you, personally, that the post does not apply to you (as I did with my good friends Chris, Danity and Mik, who commented and offered support right below) I am probably addressing you and your liberty taking.
