Hayden Pantyliner thinks her mother’s abuse allegations were a storm-in-a-tea-cup.
Pantyliner has opened up for the first time about the incident which saw her father carted away by police in the middle of the night, after allegations of physical abuse.
“It was blown way out of proportion by a sheriff who wanted his fifteen minutes of fame,” she says. “My family is wonderful — so very happy. We’re all great.”
Hayden Pantyliner’s father Alan has been arrested for alleged spousal assault.
Slapping your wife in the face is not funny.
Not being able to spell Panitt… Paniterreee, or whatever… and substituting it with Pantyliner, kinda is.
According to TMZ:
[Awesomly named] Sgt. Wolf of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department tells TMZ Alan Panettiere was arrested this morning on a felony count of domestic violence. He was popped after allegedly striking Lesley Panettiere in the face at around 3:00 AM today.
He is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
UPDATE – The popo (for those of you who are not ghetto like me, that’s Poh-poh, as in police, not poo-poo) Law enforcement tells [TMZ] Alan allegedly struck wife Lesley at least twice with fist; a right cross to the left cheek, causing noticeable bruising.
Pantyliner’s mother was the one who called the popo and asked them to take away her drunk husband.
Alan told cops when they arrived, “I’m Alan. Yeah, I just got into an argument with my drunk wife.” We’re also told Alan “clearly” was under the influence. Among other things, his eyes were extremely bloodshot and his hair was a mess.
