Celebrity casting photos, from the 80’s to 00’s, before the stars made it in Hollywood.
Bonnie Timmerman, Hollywood casting director, features in Elle’s Women In Hollywood issue. In the magazine there are some of her early Polaroids of actors/ actresses, at the start of their careers.
The photos (via Jezebel) are pretty amazing, as are the surprisingly gushy notes that go alongside them. The pictures show stars of varying ages, from their pre-teens to early 20’s, when they were doing their first movie roles. The pre-historic Polaroids in poor lighting show the following actors/ actresses and more; Uma Thurman, Laurence Fishburne, Jim Carrey, Adrien Brody, Jessica Alba, Adam Sandler, Halle Berry, Orlando Bloom, George Clooney, Jennifer Connelly, and Scarlett Johansson.
The image of a baby, pre-sessy face, Johansson is my favourite. She looks so cute and fresh, like a good little non-sociopath, non-stage kid. The top left image of Uma Therman is just beyond gorgeous. I’d totally rock that 90s look, glasses and all, right now. Proof, if it were needed, that the 80’s are back.

Adrien’s cuter than cute!

Her glasses are cute. Jim Carrey was actually cuter (back then). Adam Sandler was not. Orlando Bloom was still dreamy.
Laurence Fishburne I saw in a very early M*A*S*H episode. He must have been a teen at that time I suppose. Or maybe it was a later episode since that show was on from the early 1970s to the early 1980s. I can’t really tell.
