Carrie Underwood made an appearance on The Today Show in NYC, July 30, 2010 dressed as a schoolgirl stripper who was not even keeping up the pretense of ‘working her way through school’. Underwood, who married and returned from her honeymoon this month, was the musical guest performing today at the Rockefeller Center, NY. The jacket, shirt, and tie, combo would look better and less ‘school kid’ if they all fitted. The short shorts are cute, and I guess here to stay; the pop socks… not so much. But the REST of that get-up? Holy Cow!
I wish I could blame the stubbornness of the open-toed boot on Global Warming, but I don’t think that is the reason it is staying around.
If anyone out there has a clue as to why this open-toed boot high heel monstrosity seems firmly planted on everyones feet for WAY too long now, please let me know. I am an old woman and would like this horror to go away before I die.
Nah… Whenever I see those open-toe boots, I think ‘Yeah, cheesy feet’. Ha.

Wow, what a mess. What I can’t believe more than the fact that she actually walked out the house like that is that someone let her without saying “girrrl, you look ridiculous” and advising her against it. Good looking out!
