Carrie Prejean underwear photos won’t cost her crown, insists Trump.
Miss California Carrie Prejean has been allowed to keep her crown, despite a variety of revealing pictures of her in her underwear appearing on TMZ. The announcement was made today at the Trump Tower in New York City.
The pictures of Prejean caused quite a stir when they began showing up on TMZ and other sites last week. It was one of several unexpected embarrassing slip ups in a week that saw Rihanna and Cassie over-exposed too.
Why so many women in the public eye chose to disrobe and make boobs of themselves at the same time is still unknown. But, I will say on behalf of time-poor bloggers all over the world, ladies, thank you for ‘airing out’ in quick succession – it was far less effort to write about this nonsense one scandal after another, rather than waste weeks stewing over these images.
Donald Trump will let Miss California USA Carrie Prejean keep her title despite controversy over semi-nude photos and charges by state pageant officials that she had abandoned her duties to devote time to opposition to same-sex marriage.

Your post made me think, and firing her would indeed have sent the wrong message about her right to free speech.
From what I’ve heard, she shouldn’t have kept her crown. Not becuse fo wehat she said, but becuse it’s againt the Miss CA laws to have modeled and stuff, not to mention the fact that she’s not fulfillign her duties so that she can try and convince the world that gays shouldn’t be married (whatever!!!)
my guess is trump would lose money if he strippedher of the crown and wouldn’t be able to buy anymore wigs/hair products
I read the same thing and felt Trump’s comments missed the point too – but I only had the energy to fight one battle yesterday.

while i have recently declared myself your biggest fan, or at least biggest hetero male fan, sometimes you do so confuse me…”Why so many women in the public eye chose to disrobe and make boobs of themselves at the same time is still unknown.” on one hand she wasnt really in the public eye when she posed for the pics and on the other, most of the time women in the public eye must realize that either panty type pics got them there or the pics might keep them there which is where they want to be anyways. many enterprising young ladies understand the sacrifice of showing skin in exchange for the so desperately craved 15 minutes it buys them. how is that even a little hard to understand for a pro like yourself? kim k, paris, heidi and the list goes on and on. many young ladies will do anything to get famous or what they think is famous and then do even more to stay that way, its a shame is what it is…
… You only feel coaxed out of the gossip closet to comment on Carrie Prejean posts I see, well ok, actually that statement for the most part referred to the celebrities I did mention in the post, Rihanna and Cassie – there was also the subtext I assumed people were aware of about a number of other leaked celeb pics/ sex tapes released in the last two weeks. It is a loose statement to explain and make a point, not a lot on here is that literal (I feel no need to be quite so formal in the way I write, as I never claim this is a “news site” in the JustJared.com sense).

(ish), the real reason is that mostly i love everything else u write! just find the prejean posts the most entertainingly different from my point of view usually, i have tried to tone down the rhetoric as well cause i actually do like your site! hope u have a great day, post something about the dreaded adam lambert or the horrid shanna and you’ll see some writtings for sure in ‘non carrie’ areas!
