I actually heard about this a few days ago, but the rumours were started by an annoying website that’s not known for telling the truth and so I wanted to wait for a more credible source for celebrity relationships before I bothered covering this. After rumours at the end of last week, sources are reporting to People that the year-long relationship between Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez is over.
A spokesperson for the actress would not confirm nor deny the split, but I think they’re over. I’m not too bothered, as they were a pretty boring couple. Nice and boring. Just necking in the corner and not bothering anybody. But it was never going to go anywhere. Like most of Diaz’s relationships that just dissolve. ‘They broke up a few days ago. He ended it,’ a source tells People, in an account that supports rumours that Rodriguez felt smothered by his girlfriend. ‘However, they have broken up and gotten back together before, so not sure it’s forever.’
