Brüno on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien

Brüno on Tonight Show w/ Conan O’Brien, June 25th (6-25-09) interview part 1

Sasha Baron Cohen appeared on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien June 25.

The interviews can be seen as parts one and two. Like a lot of promotion for the movie that has been going on, this interview and a few others may as well have not happened last night. There has basically been no other news to happen whatsoever, or make a dent in the media, since word of three major celebrities passing within days of each other. Such reports hardly makes people want to LOL. But, I suppose life must go on and Baron Cohen must wax his tush and wear chaps for comic effect.

If you can break away from playing Thriller on a loop, check out these clips.

maybe it’s just the loss of mj, farrah and ed this week, but i just don’t find this character funny. i’m a fan of sacha’s, but this one is striking out with me…not really sure why?

maybe i’ve lost my funny bone? did you come steal it?

    1. I didn’t even watched the clips (swapped them for official NBC ones as the originalswere pulled). I may watch them later but I’m not in the mood for him either.

  2. Firecracker says:

I really admire how fearless Sacha Baron Cohen is. :)

    1. True, I finally watched the video and he didn’t give a crap throughout. He just kept going. Well done Conan too for barely flinching throughout.

  4. Mik says:

I liked his Ali G stuff but Borat and Bruno just don’t appeal to me and I have no desire to see either, I did watch the Bruno trailer, maybe if someone rents it and I’m around to watch but can’t see myself spending money to see it.

kudos to him for making the most of each opportunity to promote his characters.

    1. I might watch this online sneakily or get the DVD. I only got through about 10 minutes of Borat before I was nearly physically ill, and I doube this will fare any better.
